This is a template for inventory planning in projections. It shows by product the quantity on hand. Today this column would be this week's column. We have items coming in from purchase order or in transit. If you're shipping containers, let's say from overseas. Items that are supposed to be shipped outbound on open sales orders. This line is a sales projection. Sales projection. There are so many ways that we can help you or calculate your sales projection. It can be simple and mechanical like in this example looking at the same amount as last year in the same period plus some kind of growth. We can look at, you know, trailing periods, let's say the last four months to project the next four. You can also use R to put together a lot more elaborate forecasting models for sales projection. So those numbers will be plugged to this line. Then when we take today's on hand, add inbound, subtract outbound will have the on hand projected amount by week. This could be months, this could be dates. This would be the minimum quantity on hand that comes from, let's say acumatica. Next line shows if you have access or shortage comparing to the minimum on hand. So for every product you have the calculation. In this example we can see that on week 40 this item is going to run short and will have to probably order more and find ways so we don't run out of inventory. The same perspective here. If I go to the weekly tab, I see the whole report and I can print it out into PDF or Excel. If I click Daily now, I take that information and by product I'll see moving forward by date, all the amounts in a way that I can see exactly what the forecast is of my inventory projection based on my current transactions. I hope this helps.
