Welcome to Dataself and to Business intelligence based reporting. In this presentation we'll discuss how a typical distribution company can benefit from data self analytical reporting. We'll focus on an order to cache workflow process. Now these are only some of the 8,000 pre configured reports that come with dataself for use with all the popular CRM, ERP and related apps such as those from Acumatica, Sage and Microsoft. So let's start with a client Widget credit card who wants to purchase your products. You might want to check their credit history. Do they have outstanding debt, do they have enough credit and are they a bad credit risk? Dataself's High Risk Debt Customers Dashboard answers those questions. The top left shows high and low risk clients, total receivables and age totals by customer. Widget Credit Card is the second client on the left. Their AR balance is just over $1.5 million, but most of this debt is from invoices that are over 90 days old. So let's drill down for more detail. With these insights you can decide whether to allow the order, make the client prepay, require cod, or put the order on hold. You can even have this dashboard hyperlinked to the corresponding invoices in in your ERP system. You might next want to check into the items being ordered, Item 664 being one of them. Can you fulfill it today? What about next week or month? And how will pending sales and purchase orders affect stock levels? Datacell's inventory planning workbook will tell you, looking at item 664. Although you've got enough stock to fulfill this client's order today, projected sales orders and projected purchase orders are forecast to create a serious stock shortage in the coming weeks. You'll need to place purchase orders or perhaps delay some client shipments to meet current demand. Critical insight that a standard stock status report simply won't deliver so let's look at one of Dataself's purchase order reports. In order to best manage your inventory, you need to first stay on top of your purchasing. And here on the left are your open pos, including what's on time and what's not. Of course, you can drill down to more details. You can get similar insight for sales orders, including items ordered, quantity ordered and on time or late delivery. And at this point you can track the order's fulfillment, delivery and payment. However, you might also be interested in trends such as yearly comparisons, geographic hotspots and profit margins. Dataself's Year Over Year Variances Dashboard reveals such trends the year over year variances Dashboard analyzes sales by a number of factors including by client and by item. It also shows geographic sales distribution. Let's take a look at sales trends for widget. Credit card widget sales have increased by about half a million dollars since last year. Lets investigate the top three products that widget has been purchasing. Notice how widget has almost doubled their purchase of one product and they've started buying another product this year that they didn't buy at all last year. So how does Dataself deliver this kind of insight? It starts with focus. Unlike standard reports which are focused on operations and transactions, dataself adds strategic insights, predictive analysis and performance based KPIs. And it continues with technology. Standard reports retrieve raw data and are slow, provide few metrics and are difficult to design. Dataself's BI based reporting uses an ETL technology and data warehousing. This creates optimized data with smart metrics, slice and dice and infinite drill down reports are easier to design and faster to run. Dataself's BI based reporting solution combines the power of data warehousing, the ease of top analytics tools and the speed of the industry's largest reports library, all enabling a production ready solution that's deployed in under a day.
