Let's take a look at the same period prior year report and how these features work with dataself Lite Sales by salesperson right now. So here are the salespeople listed and currently I'm looking at the fiscal year 2019 period 9 right now I can see the full year this year on this column, the full last year here in the variance. This section shows year to date so through the nine and right now in my sample database nine is the current month. So the total for this year to date matches with the full year of 2019 and for 2018 it shows through the 9th. So I make a comparison year to date and how much the business growing in that perspective. And then I have here for the period nine this year and the same period prior year and the variance for the period.
Let's change this report to see this comparison by state. I can just pick any of these.
Dimensions in this case state and I.
Want to make a comparison through last full period in my sample database. And there it is. Now I'm looking through the last full period.
Maybe I'm going to compare the first.
Half of the year how I did and there it is.
And if I have more data I.
Could even pick other prior years to see how the comparison worked. You can for instance sort this report. You just put the mouse over any column header and click the sort icon. So right now I'm sorting in a descending order for prior year to date and compare to see how well I'm doing. Or perhaps I can do the same.
Analysis at the peer level and if.
You click again on the sort icon it will change to the ascending order. To see this report by different measure like gross profit I just click here. And now the whole report is showing those KPIs based on gross profit instead. Please be sure to watch the next videos with tips and tricks. Thanks for watching.
