Short demo presenting a dashboard to report on inactivity in sales opportunities. It explains that ‘stuck opportunities’ are defined by configurable inactivity thresholds (e.g., 60, 30, 15, or 7 days, and varying by opportunity stage) and highlights six dashboard views that surface who/what/where/when of inactivity, recent follow-up dates, and detailed opportunity records.

Inactivity. It's one of the hardest things to report on deliveries that haven't happened, bills that haven't been paid, and sales opportunities that haven't been followed up on. If a reporting solution is to have real value to an organization, it's got to give you insight into inactivity. But inactivity reporting has to do more. It has to provide you with the who, what, where and when of inactivity. In this case, which sales reps aren't following up with their clients? Are there prospects who haven't been contacted? Are there regions that are being ignored? And did something else like loss of staff or new software impact our ability to follow up? In this dashboard, the definition of a stuck opportunity is up to you, along with other selection criteria on the right, 60 days might be too long to wait to learn about stuck opportunities, so we could change it maybe to 30, 15, or even 7 days. You might even want to use different stuck days for opportunities at different stages. For example, you'd probably want to let more inactive time go by for prospects who are in the nurture stage than for those in the negotiation stage. One of the best features of this dashboard is is that right away it gives you six views or slices into your stock opportunities. The big picture is at the top left opportunities per sales rep is beneath that. Deals broken down by client as well as by region are on the top right and at the bottom are the specific details of opportunities that have met your selection criteria. Lastly, and perhaps most useful of all, at the lower left section of this dashboard are the most recent follow up dates for your stock opportunities. So with all of these options, you can say goodbye to that most annoying of sales inquiries. Are there any opportunities that we haven't followed up with.
