Why I Built The CRM For Kids Platform...

Jorge Fuentes Zapata built a CRM platform for kids ages 6-10 to teach customer relationship management concepts through mission-based tasks like adding contacts and creating deals. Kids earn badges as they progress, and parents can track analytics. It costs $39.99 a month or $399.99 a year.

Hey guys, how's it going? So basically I built an app. You may have seen the demo of that app was uploaded to my channel recently. It's called the CRM for Kids and it's the CRM for Kids demo that I uploaded, right? I just want to walk you through it and basically tell you what it is, right? So if you work in, let's say you're a professional in the CRM industry just in general, right? Whether you do that for whatever profession you might have, you may be a marketer, a salesperson, person, an insurance agent, a real estate agent, etc. If you use a CRM, you, you may want to look into this platform if you have children or know of children that might want to learn the craft. And what I mean by the craft is basically the craft of using or utilizing the CRM, CRM software in general, right? So imagine that if you're, you work in marketing, sales, or customer service, you want to probably pass that craft on to your kids or somebody else's kids or just kids in general. And right now there's currently no way to do that except waiting for them to grow up and then, you know, teaching them the skills in the actual platform like HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, you name it, right? And so what I'm really focusing on with this app is basically providing the playground so that they acquire the skills to upskill just in the CRM space. And then there you go. Whenever they grow up, things will be very familiar to them when you're actually going to try to teach them maybe HubSpot Salesforce or whichever other CRM platform. And that's pretty much the whole basis behind that app. Let me now, you know, do a deep dive into it or just kind of show you the nitty-gritty of the platform, like why it's great. And if you like it, then, you know, subscribe and create your own kids' accounts as well. And then, you know, get going with the missions there that you'll see. Check it out. Awesome. So Let's go into CRM for Kids dot com, right? And then you'll notice that yeah, there's a couple things. Obviously, the demo that already recorded, and you may already have seen it or gotten the notification about it. You don't need to watch it if if you because I'm going to explain it right now. But you could watch it if you want to, obviously. And then on the right side, we have like the chat if anybody has any questions. Basically, CRM built the CRM for Kids is a CRM built for kids exactly. As the name entails or explains it. And then definitely is for anybody, any children, you know, ages 6 plus. I would actually say that the range is more like 6 to 9 or 6 to 10 years old and teach them real business skills, but in general, like CRM skills, right? So imagine, you know, contacts, deals, marketing, sales, et cetera, customer service, all in a safe playground. And then you can actually see the features here. You're able to manage contacts, track money, send marketing blasts, and build like a little bit of a mini store, but that is already pre-built. Um, and then, you know, this is why parents love it— real skills, safe and private, kid-designed. And then the pricing is pretty simple— $39.99 a month for the monthly and $399.99 per year, which is a bit of a 17% of savings there, right? And so without further ado, we're just going to start a free trial for ourselves, and I'm actually just going to type my own name here, right? And then I'm actually just gonna build with another, I'm gonna build a test here, CRM4Kids.com. And then that's pretty much it. So now I'm just gonna start my free trial and then obviously I'll be prompted into, I'm just gonna save my password into verify my emails. I'm actually just gonna back my email and verify my email right now, which I just got that email to verify my email. And then here we go. And so now we're back in the platform. Now that the email is verified, I'm going to go to login and then login. Beautiful. So I'm just going to explain a little bit of what I'm going to do here. Like, the nitty-gritty of this is, uh, first, uh, go in into the kid account section and create a new kid account, right? So I'm actually just going to call it, uh, in this case I'll call it Jorge, right? And then it'll be the exact same username and the password that I used to create my account, right? You can actually create another password or another username per kid. But this is how it's gonna work, right? So I'm, I'm just gonna create, this is how it's gonna work for me right now. But do know that you can make multiple accounts, at least in the free trial you got 2. And then there are some add-ons above which once you subscribe, the add-ons can actually be purchased and basically like unlimited missions, right? Which I'll show you in a bit because this platform is entirely mission-based or task-based. And then the extra kid slots, you can actually add one more or more, as many as you want, but 10 per each new slot, additional slot, and then the unlimited amount of friends or contacts in the playground, right? In case you wanna like just have more contacts, right? And then that's pretty much it. So, so now that I have my kid account, I'm just gonna then assign a mission to this kid, right? So I'm actually gonna assign a mission. I'm gonna select my kid, which is this, in this case myself. And then there's some pre-templated missions like this one and this one and this one. Well, actually the, this one and this one. So the first one and the second one are actually pre-templated, but mission 3 is actually a custom type of mission. So for example, I'm gonna do the number 1 first and I'm gonna assign the mission to, to that kid, right? And so now, um, where do I see that mission? Let's actually go into the, uh, playground. So let's, let's scroll all the way up and go to the open the playground, and that opens in a new tab. And then now I'm just gonna log in with my username and password, right? Which is the one that I created for that kid Jorge in this case. And I'm gonna say, let's go. And then I'm here. And then you'll notice that on the top right, we have the mission that we gotta complete. So first, I'm gonna go to Contacts and click Add a Friend, right? Then I'm gonna create a new friend named Jesse, and Jesse's email is gonna be this, and their phone number is gonna be this right here. So let's do that first. And then, by the way, the next step after that is I'm gonna go to Money, so on the left-hand side, and create a new deal. And then that deal is gonna be for rainbow stickers, $5, and I'll associate it to our newly created Jesse contact, right? So, so let's, let's actually start, start. And, and I'm actually just gonna toggle this like that. And then I'm gonna add a new friend and the name of the friend's gonna be Jesse and their email's gonna be this. And then remember that the, yeah, this is, this has to be their phone number. And now I'm gonna add the contact. So great. We got the first 2 parts of the mission done, as you can see here. Now I'm just gonna go to money and click add new deal and add a new deal for rainbow stickers. And associated to Jesse. So let's actually do that. It's pretty simple. Let's go on the left-hand side. Let's go to money. And then I'm going to create a new money, in this case, a new deal. And then it's going to be for rainbow stickers. And then we're going to scroll all the way down and get our friend Jesse added to that deal or associated to that deal. And then that's it. And then the mission is done. So now on the left-hand side, you'll notice that we can have on the mission sections, this is entirely complete. And do know that, for example, within the platform, right, if we now go back to our platform, so the dashboard, the parent dashboard, And I'll just click, you know, quickly refresh here. You'll notice that now Jorge created his— completed his first mission. He got a badge of Explorer. There's a lot more badges, right, that you can get, right? So Explorer after your first mission, Captain after your first 10 missions, Hero after 50, and Sage completing 100 missions or more. And definitely do know that this report, this analytics can be exported in case you have many many kids and just want to keep track of how they progress through the missions or how many they have completed, that's a thing you can export here. And so do know that, for example, I'm going to assign a new mission here. And then you would select the kids and then select a new mission. You could do the number 2. You could do a custom mission, by the way, and you could call it something else, right? Like the, you know, let's just call it Task 2 in this case. And then you can then select up to 5 steps. So for example, and a minimum of 2. So for example, I could say, you know, create a new friend. And then send that marketing blast to that friend and then simply email the friend, right? And so do know that all of that, I'm just going to assign that mission then. So the mission is now assigned to my kid and I'm actually just going to close out the playground that I had there and just open it up from scratch. And do know that now I'll click on let's go and you can see that this is the new task that I have to create. So since I created already a new friend, but then I can send a marketing blast to the friend, right? So let's actually go and, and into, uh, sending that blast, right? So I'm actually just gonna send— go to blast on the left-hand side, marketing, and then blast, and then new stuff alert. And then I'm gonna select to Jesse and then send to the friend. And then I'm also gonna go back to contacts, and then in here I'm actually gonna send a manual email, and it'll be just a click, and that's pretty much it, right? Do know that this is pretty much how everything works in the platform. This is entirely based off of tasks, right? It is not a fully customizable CRM platform that, you know, your kids can pretend to have a business on. That is not what it's about. It's more like teaching them the skill set and the mindset of utilizing a CRM platform. So we want to have them upskill in CRM, and that's a— that's an important differentiation. This is not a, you know, get, make your kids, uh, have their first business or run their first business. No, it's more like a teach them the skills they need to thrive in the CRM industry for whatever they, they want to do, right? Whether that's in marketing, sales, customer service, or in whichever industry vertical. And that's pretty much it. So now let's actually go back to the, to the playground. Do know that yes, you can subscribe for $39.99 a month or a yearly of $399.99 per year. Let me know your thoughts. Definitely feel free to check it out, and I'll see you on the next video. Thank you. And that's pretty much it. So that's how the platform works. Apologies for the background noise, by the way. My child is out there playing with her cousins, and so yeah, they just have like a— they pulled out like a, like a, what's it called, like portable pool, right? And they just— they're making a mess out there. I have to clean it up afterwards, but Anyways, do feel free to subscribe to it or at least, you know, start your free trial with it. Let me know your thoughts, right? If somebody, if there's somebody that you know that might need this, send it to them, right? And have them sign up. And then yeah, just gimme your feedback in general. I'll make sure to record more videos on this platform specifically so that you guys can have like an idea of how to like create new missions, et cetera, and how the paid plan actually looks like. But for now, thank you so much. This is pretty much it. I'll see you guys on the next video. Thank you.
