Looking back at 2023, one of the things going into 2024 that I'm going to spend a lot more time on is making sure that everything I do in my businesses is aligned with my core values and the business core values, the state, its core value was happy, healthy humans. It took us nearly a decade to actually get to the fact that we knew that everything that went down in our company culture was really focused on happy, healthy humans. Viktor Frankel once said, man is pushed by his drives, but pulled by his values. I would have been able to make several easier decisions throughout 2022 and 2023 if I would have just stuck with my core values of things that I know are non negotiables for me. So going into 2024, if you're an entrepreneur or you're running your own business, the first thing that you should always be thinking about is does this align with your personal core values and then your company core values? Because you'll be able to hire and fire people with your company core values. And that was one of the nicest things I ever had in my entrepreneurial experience. If they didn't fit our core values, I could fire them instantly. I didn't even have to think about it. Your decision making process gets so much, can get things done way faster. So that would be my number one piece of advice for 2024.
