This is a YouTube video titled "Only할 때 자주하는 한국식 영어 발음 실수" created on December 10, 2013, focusing on teaching Korean students the correct pronunciation of the English word "only." The speaker explains common Korean pronunciation mistakes involving the sounds 'n' and 'l' and provides detailed guidance and practice examples to help learners improve their English pronunciation.
Hello students, today I would like to talk about the pronunciation of the word only. Only라는 단어를 발음할 때 한국 학생들이 자주 하는 특유한 발음이 있습니다. Only, n하고 l 이렇게 옆에 붙어있죠? 이것은 한국어로 만약에 생각하시면 니은, 니을 이렇게 생각하시니까 한국식 발음으로 할 때는 언니, 니은니은 이렇게 발음하는 분이 가끔 계세요. 그거는 혀가 약간 lazy 해서 혀를 ㄴ and l 이렇게 움직여야 하는데 ㄴ ㄴ 이렇게 발음하면 혀가 똑같은 데에서 지은이 있는 데에서 tongue touches the roof of your mouth and it stays there. 그래서 맨 처음에는 천천히 하더라도 even in the beginning, even if you have to take it slow, try to differentiate between the sound N and the sound L. 처음에는 N하고 L 소리를 구별하면서 연습해 보도록 하겠습니다. so ON 하면 혀는 지은의 붙죠. 하지만 L 할 때는 앞니 뒤쪽에 살짝 혀의 끝을 만집니다. When you go from N to L, your tongue is moving slightly, adjusting itself. N하고 L로 갈 때는 그 혀가 약간 N의 위치에서 L의 위치로 약간 이렇게 움직입니다. 물론 이렇게 더 빨리 하면 더 익숙해지만 맨 처음에는 언니 같지 않도록 연습하는 게 좋을 것 같습니다. So let's try one more time. Only. I only have five dollars. I only have five dollars 이것은 혀 끝만 이렇게 움직이는 것만 처음에 의식하시고 그렇게 연습을 해보면 나중에 혀의 옆 그리고 전체적인 입의 모양도 adjust 적응하게 될 것입니다. okay so let's practice one last time I only have five dollars I only have five dollars I only have 5 dollars okay so that's it for today and i'll see you next time bye.
