외근을 하다를 영어로 어떻게 할까요? Work outside? 야외에서 햇빛 받아서 노동하는 거예요? 아니죠. 그렇게 오해 받을 수 있어요. 그러면 Outside work? 그것도 좀 달라요. Outside work 라고 하면은 폰업 외 하는 일 혹은 주어진 업무 외 하는 일 그렇게 느낄 수 있어요. 외근은 본인의 직장이 아닌 다른 데 가서 일하는 거잖아요. 그러면 우리가 흔히 쓰는 외근 하다는 영어로 어떻게 할까요? 이렇게 하시면 돼요. I'm sorry. I'm out on business at the moment. He is on a business trip. He is out on a business trip. He went on a business trip. 영어로 이런 표현이 있어요. He is out of town. 내가 살고 있는 도시 또는 회사가 있는 도시에 없다는 거예요. 그래서 출장 혹은 여행 아니면 놀러 가서 먼 곳에 가서 없다라고 그런 표현으로 he is out of town 이런 말을 사용해요. Where is Tom? Oh, he's out of town. He won't be back until next week. He's not in town. 또 가능해요. in town 는 이럴 때 쓸 수 있어요. Hey, I'm in town. Let's hang out. 나 너네 동네에 있어. 놀자. My parents will be in town next week.
