Billy Womack turned an $11,000 investment in Gala Games nodes into $11 million, then $50 million across 15+ blockchains through daily token rewards. He now runs Skybound.live, a travel platform where node owners earn tokens for flights and hotels, and funds food programs for 500,000 families through Hope for the City.

I only put $11K in and I made $11 million. That was the most liquid cash I'd ever had in my account at one time. And I'd always wanted a brand new Bentley. I had enough money for 35 Bentleys cash.
Wow.
But I waited. I didn't go overextend myself to go look rich. I waited until I had enough money to go do it. But yet I've never bought crypto. I've never traded crypto, but made over $50 million plus in this industry. I just keep reinvesting, reinvesting it into more and more and more blockchains. Whether you know what blockchain is or not, it's here to stay. Every major company, if you type in your Google search blockchain FedEx, blockchain Mercedes-Benz, blockchain real estate, whatever industry they're in, you're going to see that they're already building on the blockchain. It's already here. We are the very first decentralized blockchain travel company in the world. Nobody can shut us down.
Welcome to the Dr. Joy Kong podcast. This is where I have a chance to share with you some of the latest developments in the space of holistic health, longevity, and wellness. I've always honored intellectual curiosity and scientific rigor combined with real-world practicality. My goal is that what you learn here will help you live longer and live better. Hope you enjoy the journey with me. Welcome back to the Dr. Joy Kong podcast. So today, this is a very special episode because this is actually a groundbreaking episode that I'm going to be introducing to my podcast because I've never talked about finances. I've always been talking about wellness when it comes to your health or your psychological well-being. However, one part of happiness definitely has the foundation in the material world, which means financial security, and that is a really important factor in our happiness. So that's why I'm really excited today to introduce Billy Womack to help us to gain some more insight about how we can get better control of our finances and, and reach more abundance. So, Billy, thank you so much for being here.
Thank you so much for having me. I'm excited.
Yeah. So you have an illustrious career, and I want to introduce you a little bit so people know who you are, and then we'll dive into your story and see what you can teach everybody.
See how much time we have.
So, so Billy actually is a seasoned entrepreneur. He's a former college basketball player, US Air Force veteran. He had a successful career in corporate sales and real estate and entered the cryptocurrency space early, mining Bitcoin when it was only $220 and never looked back. I'm so jealous.
Yeah.
And he played a key role in launching innovative blockchain projects including Gala Games, where his initial $11,000 turned into 11 software licenses that grew into millions. And you can talk about your experience. Yeah, sure. And he owns and manages over 9,000 software nodes across 15 blockchains, focusing on software-based infrastructure that supports decentralized networks with real-world rewards. And for the past decade, he's mentored more than 15,000 individuals in blockchain technology and node operations and wealth building strategies. He recently contributed to the relaunch of Parler and the launching of Optio blockchain. And Billy is the CEO of Skybound.live, a new blockchain initiative in partnership with Optio and Parler. It's designed to unite families globally, enabling users to purchase software nodes that power the network and generate Skyrewards, which are redeemable at over 3 million hotels worldwide and major airlines, dining experiences, music festivals, 700+ golf courses, and beyond. So this all sounds very exciting.
Yeah.
So I'm curious, Billy, so you are, you know, well into this financial abundance realm. Did you come from money?
Absolutely not. Very, very humble beginnings. Absolutely. My parents working 2 to 3 jobs each. I think both of them combined working 2 or 3 jobs made $60 grand combined. So definitely not, definitely not from an income literacy side of the family or knowing anything about money or anything. I'm just very humbled but very driven and wanted to actually just do more for me and more for my family and help other people do the same thing. Yeah.
So how did you start to reach more abundance? Like what?
What took a long time?
Okay.
Just like in anything, you fail your way to success. And so, you know, I played college basketball, went into the Air Force, corporate America. When I was in the military, I think we made, I want to say, $11,000 a year. So not a lot of money. My very first year out of the military in '97, I started making about $110,000 a year. So nice jump. That was back in '97. And then I had my first company, which was sports marketing, because I played college basketball and I worked with a lot of guys. I played with Derek Fisher from the Lakers here in LA. We're in LA right now, or right outside of LA. And so where I played with Derek Fisher and Corliss Williamson from the Pistons, we all played on the same team. So after corporate America, I got recruited to be an online sports marketing guy. So I managed over 50 pro athletes, built, designed, and maintained websites. I had my first exit at 27.
Wow.
And that came with a lot of Ups and downs. You learn some, you lose some. And I stumbled my way through that not knowing what to do or how to do it. And I'll fast forward, but I had a lot of— I had a lot of, uh, nos, nos, nos, and a lot of upside-down losses, uh, which is great. I think that's important, uh, that you fail your way through that. But the ones that really, really have a drive that want to get to that next level, you'll find your way. You'll find your way. And then when I got into blockchain, um, I had no idea. I posted on social media, who do you know in blockchain and cryptocurrency, everybody said, don't do it, it's a scam, don't do it. And I probably had like 70 messages.
This is how long ago?
This was, it would have been around 2016-ish, somewhere around in there, '15, '16. I want to say it was probably the end of '15. And everybody said, don't do it. And one guy said, I got a guy. Well, actually I was already in the space. Let me back up. I was already in the space for a little bit, but back then there was a lot of scams going on. A lot of people were doing stuff and It was very difficult to find the right mentor. And this guy said, I got a guy for you and he's worth $100 million. And I said, you're full of shit. I don't know anybody worth that kind of money. Little known, unbeknownst to me, he was what they said. He had money. And next thing I know, I was in Reykjavik, Iceland, of all places. I flew up there to learn a little bit more about blockchain and cryptocurrency. And I met about 250 people from I think there was like 25 different countries. China, you had Dubai, you had all over the place. And we all flew in, we were all learning software— or excuse me, hardware mining. We were mining Bitcoin, and Bitcoin at the time was like $220. So everybody's like, oh man, you're lucky. And yet when I showed them an opportunity right now where they can get in ground level, they're like, oh, that sounds like— I'm like, here's your luck right here.
A lot of people think they passed the, the boat, right?
There's always boats coming You just have to be smart enough to jump in the right boat with the right captain going the right way. And that right there is luck, you know, because you got, you know, it's not, it's not easy. Everybody's got an opportunity. Everybody has an ideal. But it's really about finding people that really have the ideal, the knowledge, and they really have the infrastructure to make things like that happen, which is what you and I have spoke about.
Right. But you have to have discernment. The first boat was Bitcoin.
The first boat was Bitcoin. I got in and I had no idea. We actually had these machines called an S5 miner, and we would plug those, plug those into the network. They would confirm transactions on a blockchain. So let's just say this is a machine. It was about this big and you plug it into the network. It would confirm those transactions and it would confirm those blocks of transactions. And every block that it would confirm, there were fees on that block and those fees would come back to the, the group of individuals that own that hardware. So we did that, and I remember telling my friends, I said, man, if Bitcoin ever hits $10,000, we're gonna be rich.
Wow.
We did okay. And so, uh, that went really well. And then, um, and then 2 years later, the guy introduced me to the guy he worked with, and supposedly this guy was worth a couple hundred million bucks. I started working with him. I became his right-hand man, just like I was this guy's right-hand man. And I was there for about 7 years and learned a lot. Instead of work, instead of doing hardware that took a lot of electricity, a lot of overhead, we started doing software that didn't take any electricity, didn't take the overhead. And then I started doing software mining. That software mining, I would buy 11 pieces of software, which I did with Gala Games. I had a lot of other businesses going on and I purchased that software and that software has a responsibility and it would go to work every day confirming transactions. And every day I would get deposits of that token. And I got busy with life and everything else. And 2 years went by and I had a lot of tokens, millions and millions and millions of tokens sitting there.
So you weren't checking it?
I wasn't checking it every day. So many people, when they get involved with something like if it's not happening, like I've got clients now, I've got, like you said, I've mentored over 15,000 people. And if it's not changing daily, they stress themselves out. Like, I just want to sell. And why? You want to go sell and put your money back in a bank on a depreciating asset. That doesn't make any sense. Patience is a virtue in anything. If you're trying to make money, your business here, you didn't start it one day, say, man, if I'm not rich, I'm giving up. No, you stuck with it. And now, now look at everything you have. I— you show me graciously your, your office and all your products. You've killed it and you've got your books. That didn't happen overnight. You've had to build it. You've had to have patience. You've had to have your struggles. And that's what happens with any true business, no matter what it is. But the second a business starts going like this, in a second or any time a business starts going backwards, you know, because you have those— you got to have— you got to be beat up a little bit every once in a while in order— if you don't take two steps backwards, you're never going to be able to walk forward. And so, uh, yeah, so we, we launched that first one.
And so that's called Gala Games, right?
Gala Games. Yeah. Um, uh, we worked with Snoop.
So how much did you spend when you got it?
I bought 11 pieces of software for $11,000, so they were $1,000 each. So I'd buy that one piece of software for $11,000 And then I watched those nodes go up in price as well as we went. So each piece of software a couple years later was worth $100,000 each.
Wow.
So I made over a million bucks just on the software, and I still have that software, still making money every day. But then those tokens, uh, had made me over $12 million to date. I just cashed out another, you know, a chunk of change recently.
Just keep accumulating these tokens.
As long as people are making transactions. And here's, here's an example I use for people all the time. This is American Express. They own their network. Every time we swipe this, there's a fee. That fee goes back to their network because they own that network. On blockchain, we own the network. So every time there's a transaction on that network, that fee comes back to the node owners. So you want to own as many pieces of software as you can, because with every piece of software, you're a partner. You and I do— you and I have a common interest in a blockchain ourselves, and about to have another one. And so Every time you buy a piece of software, that software goes to work 7 days a week for you. You get a deposit every day, so do I. And eventually when that token gets onto the market and it drives value, you and I will make what we make on that. So will everybody else that's included. That is the way you truly build wealth. I tell people, I've been in this industry now for 10 years, made lots of money, millions and millions and millions of dollars in this industry, but yet I've never bought crypto. I've never traded crypto. But made over $50 million plus in this industry. So, and I want to re-stress that I've never bought or traded crypto. And to make that kind of revenue is, it's great, but it takes patience. You know, your company, you have to build the infrastructure. You're building something that's never been there before. And so I don't ever look in my account, just like you and I have talked about a while ago. If the price goes down right now, I don't care. I'm in this for the long haul. So, and that's what, that's where most people give up. I have so many clients that'll call me and they'll say, you know, oh my gosh, this guy's following me. Selling the token dropped 10% or 15%. I said, are you in this just to make money, or are you in this to back up really a change? Because usually when people build blockchains, it's there because they're trying to solve problems, massive problems in the industry. And when you solve problems, that's where wealth is built. If you're out there just to make money, you know, you're gonna, you're gonna fight with that internally a lot.
Yeah. So a lot of people don't understand a blockchain or crypto very well. You know, so I think the world is trying to catch up. But just from a, like, a broad stroke, how do you even explain to people, you know, you don't have to go into great details, but, you know, just people to grab their mind around, you know, what exactly is the technology?
Sure. And I'll explain. Skybound. So first podcast I've been on that I can explain this, and it's very easily explained. Um, we've built a blockchain already. We've put up the money to, to build that out. I actually— I have. So I've already built out the structure of this. So what happens is now building out the blockchain is a hard part. It takes a lot of millions and millions of dollars to do that. Once you have that infrastructure, then you say, what problems am I going to solve? How can I help the masses? And in my scenario with Skybound .live is people can go in and buy one piece of software and that software will confirm transactions now, or you can buy multiple pieces of software or a lot of software.
So software, you were talking about the nodes.
The software nodes, right. Yeah, okay. So I buy, I don't, when I first got started, I would only buy $10,000 or $15,000 worth of nodes. Now every project I do, I buy thousands of pieces of software 'cause I have the money to do so, but some people don't. But let's just say the average person out there wants to go travel. The very first question I ask a lot of people is, where's somewhere you've never been that you wanna go? And they'll say Dubai. Usually that's an overall place. I've been to Dubai many times. I love going to Dubai. But let's just say, I say, how much would that trip cost you? And they say 10 to 15 grand. They wanna sit in a nice seat on the plane. They wanna go to a nice hotel. They wanna experience life. They wanna go to the dunes. And they wanna do nice spas 'cause you're staying in a 5-star hotel or whatever hotel if you're gonna do it right. And it may cost them 15 grand, Then I'll say, what if, what if you took that 15 grand and you bought software, and that software would give you a Sky token 7 days a week? And when it got onto an exchange, and if it had any value whatsoever, and then it goes up, and you can use those Sky tokens to travel around the world. Not only can you use them for your airlines, you can use them right now. Our Sky Live, we have now 3 million hotels that you can use this token for around the world. We have spas, we have airline tickets, we have golf courses, 700 of the nicest golf courses around the world. You can do, uh, you can do your favorite concerts, you can do your favorite venue. So now the average person, instead of using their money one time to go on vacation, they can take those because every single day the rest of their life— because you paid one time for the software node, you get that token every day. But now you get to go live life. That's what I like to show people, is life is stressful. There's a lot going on. A lot of people are hurting out there financially. But what if there's a way— you know, my mother just passed away, we just talked about this 4 weeks And one thing that I always wanted to do with my mother was take her to a couple of places that she wanted to go. She was a godly woman. She wanted to fly to Jerusalem. She wanted to go to certain places, and I would have loved to take her there. But she wasn't sick, so I didn't know that we were running out of time to do those type of things. But what if you could buy a mechanism, software node, and it would give you these deposits and you could take that trip once or twice a year? Maybe you take one trip there and another trip there, or maybe you don't even want that and you use those to pay off some debt or anything. Anything else. So that's what I teach people, is, is really software node. You become part of the infrastructure instead of chasing a token. The biggest mistake people make in this industry is they go buy a token when it's at a height. The second it, it starts dropping, they sell because they're afraid. They don't want it to go down, and they've lost money. Or maybe they go here and they, they sell with a little bit of profit, then they get right back out. What have you really done? You've stressed yourself out the whole time it's in the market. You haven't really made that much. Or maybe you make a gain, but now you cash back out. Now you're right back where started. Why not own a piece of the infrastructure where you get paid 7 days a week? I don't worry about the fluctuation because it can go from a quarter, $0.84, down to $0.01 to $0.05. I make money 7 days a week no matter what the price is. That is how you build wealth.
The amount of tokens that you actually collect as rewards.
Yep.
Does that change all the time?
Yes, because there's only a certain amount of tokens that come in every day. So the more people that buy the software, the little less distribution we all get, but the stronger the network. Just like the internet, if you had 2 computers connected together, can you hack that? Yes, because there's only 2. But if you had thousands of computers connected, can you hack the internet? You can't hack the internet. You can hack a company on top of the internet, but you can't hack the internet. The more people that own software nodes on our network, the stronger the network, the more valuable it is for everybody.
So it almost reminds me kind of like, uh, like democratizing banking, almost like you, you become part of bank, right? By buying the nodes, now you're operating as a mini portion of the bank.
Yeah. And I tell people all the time when in Vegas, when people come to Vegas, I live in Las Vegas, as you know, Las Vegas, the house always wins. But now imagine if you were part of that house. Imagine every single time somebody comes to our site and they book a piece of travel because they want the discount of 30 to 60% off when they book it, whether you're part of it or not, when you own that software node, they're paying a fee. That fee comes back to me and the node owner 7 days a week, whether you do anything whatsoever or not. When somebody takes one of our vacations, or they get to one of our condos, or they do anything like that, or they just go to the spa, whenever they do a transaction, there's that fee. That's a little fee. We don't think about this. We own a MasterCard, Visa. Everybody has one of these in their wallet, or 99% of the people. But every time they swipe it, they don't think about that $1.95 or $0.50 or $0.20, whatever. But when you have millions of people doing that, it adds up. That is how I get paid 7 days a week. That is truly how you build wealth. You don't— people chase money because that's what— that's all they know. That when people get into crypto, they say, have you heard of this token? Let's go buy this token. I've never bought a token like that ever, except for Bitcoin. Never bought Bitcoin.
Oh, you know, you were mining, but there you go.
I got it free. It didn't matter what the price of Bitcoin went to, I would get it free every day. Wow.
Yeah, another way I kind of thought of it, but I love the you know, the Mastercard with the American Express analogy. But I was thinking of it, you know, almost like buying real estate.
Yeah, that you own the real estate, right?
So you collect rent no matter what.
That is it.
You're in, you're out.
Somebody gave me that analogy 2 days ago, and it's exactly true. You own a piece of real estate in our infrastructure. And guess what? Every single day you're getting rent. 7 days. I could spend every one of my tokens on that particular blockchain. And guess what? Tomorrow I get more. So how, how, you know, when I hit a certain amount, when we launched that first one, when I hit it like $10 or I think $11 million, when I hit on that first one, I only put $11K in and I made $11 million. I cried. You know, I'm not too bashful to say it. You know, it is what it is. You know, when you don't come from money, that was the most liquid cash I'd ever had in my account at one time. And I called my mom and I'd always wanted a brand new Bentley. You know, we were just talking about my Bentley. And I'd always wanted a brand new Bentley, and I had enough money for 35 Bentleys cash. And my mom's like, if you don't go get it now, when will you ever get it? So, but I waited. I didn't go overextend myself to go look rich. I waited until I had enough money to go do it. Same thing now that I'm getting a private jet, you know, I could have got a jet years ago, but I've waited till enough to have several private jets before I go get my jet. So there's so, so, so many people try to look rich. And I just keep reinvesting, reinvesting it into more and more and more blockchains because blockchain, whether you know what blockchain is or not, it's here to stay. Every major company, if you type in your Google search blockchain FedEx, blockchain Mercedes-Benz, blockchain real estate, whatever industry they're in, you're going to see that they're already building on the blockchain. It's already here. We've got blockchains for agriculture, banking. Now we have it with travel. We are the very first decentralized blockchain travel company in the world. There's only one other out there. They're out of the UAE, out of the country, and they talk about being blockchain travel, which is fine, but they're not decentralized. What I mean by decentralized, our node network decentralized the whole platform. Nobody can shut us down. So, you know, we can get into that a little bit later if you have questions. But it's pretty exciting when you own a company that is completely decentralized. If you own a software node on our network, you have a voting right of what goes on. We all own it. I get paid the same way you do or anybody else. So we all get paid the same way. Yeah, that's very exciting.
And you are involved in 15 different blockchains. Okay.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And counting.
Okay. And are they all doing really well?
Some are, some aren't. You know, when I say some aren't doing well, it's not that they're not doing well. They just haven't launched. You know, some take a lot longer to launch, some take a lot, some are undercapitalized. So they take different things. Very fortunate for me. I've already put a lot of the money up front for this. It's because I had the wherewithal to do that. A lot of people don't have that ability. So with ours, I put up most of the money. We've got millions and millions of dollars of tech that's already built out. And so we don't have that to worry about.
I know you've had a lot of experiences in all these blockchains, but you're very excited about Parler, right?
I am. Parler, which is Optio blockchain. Yes.
Right. So what makes them special?
Well, you know, they called me, you know, it's really cool because, you know, Parler's been around for several years. Dan Bongino, who's the head of the FBI, started it. And then when Trump, President Trump, in his first term got kicked off of Twitter, he came over there and 31 million Americans followed him over there. So they had 31 million downloads in a matter of like 30 to 45 days. But they had an issue with the old owner. I'll just put it that way. I don't want to call out names on the podcast, but they had a an issue with, um, one of the other social media platforms, and they told— they called AWS and they said, listen, you need to delist this company. That's how Parler got kicked offline. So that company is not ever— you know, all these other blockchains that say they're decentralized, they're not decentralized. And a lot of them say we have a decentralized platform of doing this, we have a decentralized— no, they don't. If they use AWS, they are not decentralized. If they use another cloud service company and they don't own their own cloud, they are not decentralized.
So what's the benefit of being decentralized?
The, the benefit is someone like, someone like Parler, we own the hardware, the software, and the cloud. So 99.9— actually, we are the only blockchain that we know of in the world that owns the full tech stack. Now what we are willing to do and what we're offering and helping people is all these other blockchains that use AWS or anything else like that, because we own the cloud services and we want to help decentralized. We don't want to be the only ones. We're not out there touting that. What we want to do is invite any other blockchains out there, come get a quote from our cloud services. On the average, we'll probably save them anywhere from 20 to 40% off their, off their, off their hosting fees because we were built truly for blockchain. AWS was not. They have to build all these gadgets just to plug into their system in order to make, make that work because they're a blockchain.
And then they can shut you down.
And whatever you want to— on our system, we have our own cloud. You could come in, we could put you into our own App Store, which is a decentralized blockchain. And then my node, your node, we can actually attach to that and decentralize the whole system. Not another blockchain in the world can say that. That is fact. That's really, really exciting. Once you understand the tech on that side and you see what we've built, and it's taken us a year and a half to build that, that's up and running right this second. We also have a blockchain. Another reason I'm excited about Optio, we have our own home security system. So where you can actually come in, you look at, uh, you look at ADT or some of these other home security systems, you'll pay $6,000 for a home security system? Well, you pay 6 grand, probably 90% of that's profitability. They give you a monthly fee, that's fine, you get home security. But what if there is a blockchain home-based, or excuse me, a blockchain decentralized security system where you pay the same amount, but in there we'll help guarantee that your house is paid off in the next 10 years? Oh, see, I haven't told you about this, have I?
No.
This is up and running right now. I've already got people set up for this. Now you go set up for our home security system But inside there, when you sign up, instead of just profiting all that money— remember, we're, we're here to add value to people, not just take money in. So we'll actually get them set up with multiple of our software nodes in that package. So now they get software nodes in there, and then those tokens will be locked up over the period of 10 years as the company grows. Think of it like having been beginning of Amazon or something. You lock up those, those earnings for the next 10 years and then they go on to an exchange if they ever do, and they have value. And then we take that and we help pay off the house for the customers. And that really cool value generated, the value generated. So we're always— you said we're here to talk about helping people and finance and helping people. Imagine all the little things in your life. You're putting money towards security or safety, but it's not really— what safety is it really giving you? What about security and safety where we can actually help, help add value, paying off your house or paying it down at least 80%? Those are really cool things. That is where you can really say, I've made a difference instead of making money, because you, you've done extremely well and I've done okay. And, and so, but once you make a certain amount of money, it's not about money. It's more about impact. And so when you can make that kind of impact to thousands of people, you know, I have grown men calling, crying, literally. Crying, saying, thank you so much for helping me. I've had women do the same thing, but it's really more crazy when you have a grown man call and just say, man, I needed this more than anything you've ever— had one guy, you know, I don't want to get names, but he was going through a really, really tough time. And he called me and said, man, I just need something, please. Because when you're at the worst part of your life, you know what everybody needs? They just need hope. They just need to know that there's sunlight at the end of the tunnel. They just need that somebody can reach out and say, I'm here to help. And I think that's what blockchain does for a lot of people, the right type of blockchains with the right leadership. What we are doing is really— that's why it's decentralized. We want to reach out and help as many people as we can and bring them. That's why I love the travel. So many families out there don't have money to take one vacation a year, but what if they bought a piece of software for $1,100, which we have, and they create that digital reward and they're able to take their grandmother somewhere that she's always wanted to go, or maybe they're a sick mother or something else, or maybe their kid. Yeah, you know, there's so many kids out there and they don't have the money. They had to put them in the back. You know, growing up, we never had— I never had one vacation ever, never as a kid. And there's a lot of people just like me that never had the money for a vacation. I think we did— I think we did on one Christmas, we got in the back of the truck, um, showing my age, and we went to Bass Pro Shop. Out. But that was, that was a vacation to us. We went to the fair a lot, you know, that was— but that was 20 minutes away. That wasn't really a vacation. But there's a lot of people like me growing up that just didn't have that kind of thing. I could easily— you and I talked about this at lunch— I could easily go sit on the beach and just, and just say, hey, I've made it, I've made enough money, I don't have to work. But doing what I do now, which is giving back my time and most importantly the education and the information and showing people how to get structured the right way. To me, that's, that's, that's the impact I want to leave, the legacy.
Yeah. Hey, I hope you're enjoying this content. If you want to learn more about Optio, Parlor, or Skybound, please click on the link in the description. I just went to Tony Robbins' finance event talking about all the different ways that you can grow money, how you can, you know, invest into the safety bucket or the risky bucket. So 10% is considered great and 15% is considered, you know, that's really great, right? I mean, 20% is really up there. But when we were looking at something like these notes, what would you say? What kind of returns are people looking at?
Well, it's illegal for us to tell anybody returns. Oh, yeah. Yeah. But that's fine. I can maneuver through that question.
Well, how much money do people usually make?
I make a lot. But here's why. The sooner you get involved in a project, The key to making a lot of money in this industry is being there before the token starts distribution. And most people, they'll say, I'm going to sit back and wait until you take off and then I'm going to jump in. Then you're not going to make that type of money because it wants a token. Because you got to remember, let's just say for an example, uh, right now we're launching the, the travel and let's just say we've got 200 people. It's brand new. But the second we hit 2,000 people, which will be very quickly, then the distribution starts. But if somebody waits until we have 4,000, guess what? There's only a certain amount of tokens to go out every single day. So like with Optio, let me use that for an example because we already went through that. If you had your nodes on day one with Optio, we were getting 880 tokens per day per node. Remember that? Now we're getting 120 nodes or 120 tokens per day per node. See that gap? If they would have waited, they're only getting 120 per node. I was getting 800. So that's why it's important. If you find something and it checks the boxes for you, then you need to say, all right, let me just dip my toe in. I dip my toe in on the first one. I put $11K. There's, there's people in Vegas that I've helped. I'll say his name because everybody knows him. He loves telling the story. His name is Big G. Him and his wife, they come and sit on my couch and they're like, listen, this is all the money we have. And they got involved with Gala. And Gala, I think they started with, I want to say $15,000. We helped them make over $350,000. Now these are facts. And then my buddy Corey, I think Corey started with $20,000 or something bucks, and Corey went from $20,000 to $280,000, give or take, somewhere around in there. And because they got in when I told them to get in. And the people that sit around and wait, that's fine. I can't— I'm not here to guarantee anybody any money. That's not what this is about. This is about to teach you the fundamentals of when to get in and how to get in. And that's what I do. I tell them, listen, as soon as— if the money's just sitting in your account doing nothing anyway, position yourself to be part of that infrastructure when it takes off.
Right.
Just like any business.
Yeah. And people say this is an unprecedented time for massive wealth generation.
And this has the opportunity— not only has the opportunity, it's already changed my life. I, nobody in my family has ever made probably more than half a million dollars, if that, in their life. Being able to make that in a week, I've made many, many times over because of blockchain, all with software nodes. You want to talk about changing your life, doing things for your family, putting them on planes. And now with these software nodes for travel, now imagine if your, your kid has college coming up or they want to travel somewhere, instead of spending $4,000 or $5,000 on the travel, now you can just go buy that in software nodes and be able to travel multiple times a year, being able to, to take and then get you a spa day on top of that, you know, or give your husband a nice Christmas golf, golf date that he can go out on different golf courses around the world.
Yeah.
But then you can also go to like Poppy Steak in Vegas. We already have a contract with these guys or a nice, nice dinner. So there's so many things that we're going to have cruises, all these different things that you can do. But people will go spend the money one time with that hard-earned money and it's gone forever. But if you buy a piece of software and it gives you that infrastructure where you get— where you're getting these tokens 7 days a week, you're getting these tokens, and now you can utilize those on so many different opportunities.
Transformative.
Yeah, exactly.
It's life-changing.
It is life-changing. It changed my life. It probably doesn't change your life, but I mean, what she's built here is amazing though. I've got a chance to look around and and see all the things and book covers and supermodel that she is. And look at this, Dr. Joy. And I'm honored to be on the show and to be able to be the first guest that you brought on for this kind of—
this information about, uh, you know, this very, very important subject is, you know, it's tremendous pressure, you know, that, that creates a lot of stress for people. So it's easy to tell people, yeah, easy to tell people, no stress less. Yeah, well, okay, why don't you step into my shoes, right?
So yeah, there's a lot of people out there, I mean, struggling day to day. And I was way. Honestly, I'd done okay financially in different markets and different brands. When I owned a medical company, I did okay, and I'd have good, good, good months, and I'd have terrible months. And I just wanted consistency in my life. When I got in the blockchain, when I got into this industry, when you first get started, it's not— you're not going to make money overnight. I tell people, even this new one, I mean, you got to look at it as putting your money away in a savings, like a 401k, if you will. You're putting your money away. You got to pretend like it's not there so you're not looking at it every day. Do you look at your 401k every day? I don't. When I had a 401k, I looked at it maybe once every 6 months. So same thing with this. Once you buy your software nodes and you see your deposits coming in a day, tuck it away. Just check in every 90 days. Once it gets on exchanges, if it ever does, then that's the exciting part. That's the part where you say, all right, now I'd like to do it. And there's different ways where you can actually borrow against that as well. So you're not even spending that. So An asset is an asset. You know, I tell people all the time, are they willing to loan? Well, not banks, but there are lenders out there that will. So like Warren Buffett, Warren Buffett, when Warren Buffett, he, he is one of the wealthiest men on planet Earth. When he's one of the largest shareholders in Coca-Cola, when Warren Buffett needs money, does he sell his Coca-Cola stock? He borrows against it. When it's an asset, you can borrow against it. Bitcoin, when people, Michael Saylor and these guys, do they sell their Bitcoin when they need money? They borrow against it. So once you have a certain amount of volume going through on a day-to-day basis, then lenders or different lending groups will actually borrow against that asset, whether it's gas and oil, whether it's stock, where it's cryptocurrency, anything like that, you'll find a lender that will do it. So that is what we do on our side as well. We don't do the lending, but I'm saying there are lenders that come to us willing to do that for the different assets that we create. Yep.
And whatever interest you pay cannot compare to the value you keep getting.
The key is when you, when you, when you first get started is borrowing, like when it's coming out and right when it has enough volume. And as it, as it grows, you can use that liquidity or that, that spread to actually pay it off. Then you do it again, then you do it again, all the way up. And then, you know, it's— that's when you can actually— that's when you can capitalize in a big Yeah, yeah.
And I think I got into Parler, Optio back in probably May or somewhere there, April, May. And it's, it's very easy. I mean, it's on an app, right? You see every day the reward, they just keep coming.
You know, the nice thing about Parler and Optio is you're on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube. Every time you make a post, they own your data. They take it and they monetize it about 20 different ways. I don't get a check, royalty check for my information, do you? But on Parler, now that it's relaunching and stood up, you own your own data. Every time you post, like, or share, when people post, like, and share on your, on your page on there now, now that we've decentralized it, now that we've put it on the blockchain, now that we reward you, you'll actually start getting these rewards every day. And then when we implement the, the, the, the referral side for monetization of your data, you can say, I want to monetize my information. At that point, they will pay you 70% of all that revenue spend that comes in. That's huge. That is astronomical. Because right now they're not paying you anything on any of these other platforms, maybe 1% or a couple percentages, but they're not paying you 70%. So that's why Parler is really getting ready to start really taking off. And they've got a lot of people backing it, a lot of major influential people that are over there. You got Tucker Carlson, a lot of these guys that are all over Yeah, yeah.
This is based on a totally different philosophical— right, and a philosophy of what you want to use the social platform for.
Yeah, you can use it for all different things. A lot of people just want to use it because number one, it's not censored, right? As long as it's not illegal, you go over there and you're not censored. They don't do shadow banning over there where most social medias— you had Twitter before Elon took it over that shadow banned you, Facebook, all these other things that would shadow ban you. But, uh, over at Optio, you don't have that, which is great. You just— it's a direct feed. That's all it is, which is great.
Freedom of speech is freedom of speech essential to philosophy.
Yeah. And that's the life. I mean, if you can't— if they're going to shadow ban you, they're going to put you in the corner and not let you, you say a lot of the stuff that you want to say, which is our human right, then, then it's kind of crazy. But Parler is changing that and they're, they're changing it in a big way. And Optio now being on the blockchain, you know, we have, we have the Optio cloud, we have the home, uh, security systems, which is data. We have the social media platform, and now we're white labeling a lot of that blockchain as well. So a lot of people that are trying to get into this industry, they don't have the $40 or $50 million that we've spent over the last year and a half to get this thing up and going, but now they can piggyback off our tech and what we've done in this industry, which is very important. So if anybody's out there has a great blockchain ideal but you just don't have $40 or $50 million laying around, you don't want to go get a VC because VC will take 60 to 70% of your business, just find me on Instagram, Billy WO, and I'll show you how to do it for half a million bucks. Wow.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, so you, um, this travel idea—
yeah, it was an idea, but now it's coming to fruition.
Yeah. How long have you been, uh, brewing on this?
Uh, you know, I tried to get another group to do this with me about 7 years ago, and they just had too much going on. Then I threw it over to Parler, you know, my, my team over at Parler, uh, probably a year ago. And they just, they, they were focused on just the Optio block, which is, that's great. I wanted them to. And then, um, you know, lately I said, you know what, this is what I want to do and this is how I want to do it. And, uh, the press release comes out, actually we're doing this before the press release even come out. So you're getting to hear this before the press release comes out, but they're going to announce the partnership between me and Optio blockchain. We did a JV on the backside. And so yeah, I have the very first partnership with them ever coming out because obviously they're my partners anyway. But we're doing the Optio blockchain, which is really exciting. So now I get to help so many families live the life of actually going to take a vacation that they're not able to go do. There's so many good, really, really cool things that we're going to be doing with the nonprofit that we work with as well. So there's a lot of opportunity of ways to give back. I'm excited about that one because that one, who does— I, you know, you and I, we had a nice lunch today. Who doesn't like to have a nice lunch? Who doesn't like to go to a nice bar? The guys, if they don't, do they like to golf? If they don't like to do that, who likes to travel? We check— or their concerts or a festival or helicopter rides, right?
All the good things, all the, all the finer things in life. Why people work hard for it.
Yeah. Instead of go spend your money and your money's gone, buy a piece of software, and that will allow you to, to have these experiences in life day in, day out, every day. Yeah, that is what I'm excited about. That is super, super cool. And that's what I'm about to bring to the world. I've got, I've got over 660,000 medical professionals getting ready to see this. I've got a network out of Orlando getting ready to put me on a TV show in Orlando to talk about this. We've got just a ton of opportunities, people pulling me left and right. So You're going to hear about, uh, Skybound a lot in the next 6 to 8 months from all directions. We're going to hit it from every direction. But if you want to be involved in this right now, uh, I guess what do we say? We're going to say Dr. Joy in the comment section. You know, just put Dr. Joy in the comment section down here. We'll make sure that you get the correct information. I'm happy to explain to you guys what we're doing. Uh, we'll get you some information if you want to buy a node, 2 nodes, 5 nodes, 20 nodes. Um, you know, we're happy to get you guys set up with that.
And if people— I know so much of these rewards are for travels and having fun. What if people actually just want cash from it? Can they—
once it's on an exchange and it has value, stuff like that, they can do whatever they want to with it. So once, once that happens, they can whatever they want to do. We're not here to dictate what they want to do. Some people, they just want to sell it for whatever the value is. That's fine. They can do whatever they want.
But if they use the reward token basically for, for having fun, you— they actually get a discount, right?
Yeah, there's going to be different memberships that they'll unlock by using certain things. Yeah. And they will have à la carte things, just like the golf is à la carte. So they'll be able to say, all right, I want to spend this, I'm going to unlock this, boom, boom, boom. So there's going to be different things. They'll say, oh, I really want to do this. The golfing thing, I think it's less than $300 a month. You'll be able to go to golf at 700 of the most prestigious golf courses around the world. Instead of— a lot of these golf courses charge anywhere from $100,000 to $250,000 a year for annual membership. On our platform, you're going to be able to literally golf next to somebody that pays those fees, but you're just going to have to pay a monthly membership with no, no contracts. You pay less than $300. I don't remember the exact dollar amount. You'll be able to pay less than $300 You can golf on that course, I want to say, 3 times a year with at least 3 or 4 of your friends each time, multiple times, just by paying less than $300 a month. That is super cool, especially for these golfers that— I mean, you just pay that $300, then you just pay your green fee. That's it. You don't have to pay that $100,000 or $200,000 for the membership fees.
Wow.
Yeah, that's really cool. Yeah, look at that smile. You're like, in your head, you're like, where can I travel to? Where'd you say a while ago that you wanted to go earlier when we were Oh no, there are a lot of places.
Yeah, I'm going to Fiji.
Yeah, Fiji. That's right. So that, that trip would have cost XYZ instead of— and paying XYZ with your dollars if you would have bought that many software nodes. Now imagine taking that multiple times.
Yeah, that is the cool part. So you, uh, you have an app like where people can just—
oh yeah, I have an app. All that's— we haven't released that, but the app is completely done, ready to go.
Oh wow.
Yeah, I've already It's already done. So it's ready to go. Right now we're in pre-launch, which means we're gathering up our 2,000 members right now. Once we hit 2,000 members, that's when distribution will start. Right.
I mean, people are actually getting a much better deal when they buy notes.
Much better deal. Much better. Because every day the rest from that point on, you're getting this token 7 days a week. It doesn't matter how many you're getting.
You get more distribution, you get more reward. And at a lower cost.
So everyone that goes and books travel on this site, every time they do that, that transaction, that transaction has a fee. That fee goes up in the cloud and it's divided evenly between us 7 days a week. We get to go travel, we get to experience life, and so do they. So it's a win-win situation all the way around. I get paid the same way that you get paid or anybody else gets paid that owns the software. Now, if we put something up to vote, we say, hey, we really want this to happen, this to happen, all the node owners— oops, excuse me— all the node owners out there, we all get to come to a consensus. Do we want this or do we not want this?
How many nodes do you need?
I have a lot.
Okay.
I like to have nice things, as you and I have talked about. So, you know, I need a lot, but I have a lot because I like to give back. You know, I showed you earlier, I was— I, I think it's important that when you do have success, you give back. And I was able to do a lot with mine, and I'm doing a lot more with, uh, the money. You know, I made $11 million on that first deal, but I also gave $1 million back to nonprofit. So, and that was the first one. I've committed to do a lot, lot, lot more than that over the next 24 months.
So for Skybound, how many nodes are available for purchase?
Right now? Well, right now we haven't put a cap on it. Right now there's going to be at least a couple hundred thousand nodes available. Oh, wow. Yeah. So there's going to be plenty of them out there. The key is to have them on day one of launching the token. Now, how long will it take to be on the token? I've got— I'm going to Orlando this week. They're going to create an avatar of me that's going to learn this whole pitch, and it's going to basically— and we've got, like I said, over 700,000 people that we're getting ready to start marketing to. I told you this earlier, in December I got on a 45-minute Zoom and I helped 65 people get started, and we did $700,045. Minutes. So it's not going to take long for us to get those 2,000 people. I would, you know, a couple months. But at least when you get them now, you're positioned, because the second we hit 2,000 people, those software nodes, instead of $1,100, they automatically go to $2,500 each.
So I see.
Yeah, so you want to go ahead—
2,000 people, that, that's your cutoff?
That's the cutoff. And but that's when the distribution starts, and that's when the nodes go up in price. It's all sitting, it's smart contract. It's already written out that way. So I tell people, just— it could take us 90 days, it could take us 120 days, or it could take us 3 weeks. I don't know.
Yeah.
So I tell people, get them now, right?
Ground zero.
Get them right now. I've already bought some for me. I bought some for my daughter. My daughter's 27 years old. I asked her, what's the one thing you want to do? And she goes, I just want to take my 2 grandkids. She goes, I just want to take my grandkids and go here, here, here, and do this. And So her birthday was last Saturday, she turned 27. So I bought her a lot of software notes. Why get her some, some, some, all these things that she's not going to use, or maybe she uses, but I bought her software notes now that they can travel. You know, my mother passed away and she's like, hey dad, let me borrow your credit card so I can come out for the funeral and everything else. And, and that's what we did. So now I'm like, now I can just get her some software notes. Now she gets to just travel and and do things like that. So it's great for— what month are we? Oh, Christmas already passed. Birthdays are coming up, anniversaries coming up, uh, different things are coming up. Buy them software nodes, especially if they love spas. So getting a spa, spend a little extra, get them a node so you can get them multiple spas all over the place.
Yeah, yeah. So I know you do philanthropy as well.
I do.
What, what, uh, what excites you?
Uh, you know, because I don't come from anything I work with a company called hopeforthecity.org out of Las Vegas, and they help a lot of families. Not only are they helping them with food, but during COVID when COVID hit, they were up to feeding like 500,000 families a week. So it was a lot. And that's where the birth came from. Pastor Mike, who runs Central Church— Central Church is the largest church in Nevada. And I went to the very first time I donated ever that kind of money to anybody. I went and I got to hear what they were doing, why they were doing what they're doing, and the amount of people they're helping. And not one penny came back to them. They didn't take a penny of it. 100% of the money went back to help families in need in the Las Vegas area. And now they're taking that globally. So I decided I was going to come in as their main partner worldwide. And be the main sponsor worldwide to donate a big portion of everything I make, literally, worldwide. And I'm putting behind these guys, and we're gonna go in and we're setting up these learning facilities worldwide. We'll teach people blockchain. So you're gonna see not only are we helping families get back on their feet, but we're gonna be teaching them. We'll have learning— we call them like breakdowns where they can go inside there when they're getting their food and stuff, and they can actually learn learn a lot about blockchain and learn how— what we're doing and learn how to get involved. And to me, it's— if it's great to, to catch a fish, but it's another thing to teach somebody how to fish. And that's what we will— we really want to do is really help people pass on and get out of that cycle of, hey, I don't know how to help my family. Well, we're going to teach you, right?
Bring them out of ignorance.
That's it.
And get into the new—
when you don't come from money, how are you supposed to know? You know, all you do is work hourly just to put food on the table. But if we can break that cycle with people and show them, you know, that's, that's impact. And that's what makes me sleep good at night, knowing that I've literally changed people's lives. And, and I think a lot of people are like that. So many people out there that don't make a lot of money, but when somebody's in need, the first thing they do is open up their wallet. I mean, that we, we as a United States, every time we see something like 9/11, anything tragically happened to anybody, it doesn't even have to be that big, You hear about a GoFundMe that just reached $5 million or $500,000 just like that. There are a lot of people out there with big hearts. And I think that's, you know, we're such a giving, giving country because we want to see people do better. And I'm just trying to do my part there as well. What about you?
Well, yeah, I, you know, I've benefited from, from the big heart of this country. And I talked about in my book, actually, and I don't think I would have been where I am if it's not because—
Generosity of others.
Yeah, people who— sorry, I've never been—
No one's ever put you on the spot? Sorry about that. Kind of. Yeah, you can tell it impacted you a lot. And, you know, I think that's very important.
Um, that there are people who, um, that I really, that really want to help, um, people who are in a difficult situation. And I think a lot of people, if you give them the help and the chance, they can do amazing things in the world, right? But they just need that little—
like I said when I started this, I said all people really need All they need is hope. They just— you got a piece of tissue?
That's okay.
Yeah. You know, when we said this earlier is, you know, going back when I was in my younger days, I made some mistakes and I was suicidal. You know, I was in a really dark place and all I really needed to know was, can I get out of this? And whether that's— and I think a lot of people right now going through the mental illness and everything else and the veterans out there, I'm a veteran. Set. And there's so many people out there in a dark place, and all they really want to know is, can I get help? Who— how can I get out of this cloud of, of, of anything? And, and that is why we're doing this podcast. That's why you've never had somebody on here. But I think that's your heart speaking right there, of just saying, hey, how do we impact my listeners? How do we show these people there's an easier way out there than just going to work every day, stressing, going home, fixing food, taking care of the kids, getting up the next day and doing the same thing. This is a way for them to leverage their time, their money, and to kind of help them get out of a scenario like that, which is kudos to you for that.
Yeah, well, thank you for being part of the heart of this country. Yeah, I definitely see, partially is from Christian tradition, and it's not, of course, it's not just America people have heart and want to help in China too when people have difficulties. But as a system, I think there's this tradition of philanthropy, of supporting different group of people or animals who are disadvantaged, and that's really a beautiful thing.
Yeah, I mean, it's when you can get to success on any level, you know, and you don't have to be on our level to give back and help. And, you know, we see this in Vegas all the time. At Christmastime, we have, you know, where you can drive through. It looks almost like a fair and the lights are all up and we have people dress up as Santa. And what we do is the back of the trunk of the car is open. And as the kids are looking at— as the kids are looking at all the lights and everything, the church themselves are putting full cooked meals in the back of the trunk. They're putting the Christmas gifts back in there. They're putting They're putting clothes and supplies and hygiene items in there. And they're doing that because they want the parents to be the hero. They're not out there trying to say, we did this, we did that. And that's what I loved about that nonprofit, Hope for the City.org. And when I heard them speak that day, 3 years, 2 years ago, I was sitting there, I was like, I've got— my heart was just exploding. I was like, I've got to help these people. And nobody was really giving anything that night. And so I said, you know, what, what do you guys need and how much? And I just, I said, I want to be your biggest donor. And I said, let me donate a million bucks. And so I was in a situation to do that. And so that's what I did. And this year I've vowed to do a lot, lot, lot more than that because, you know, we, I think we talked about this, money is just a tool. Once you have a certain amount of needs or what you feel like is a need, one I didn't need a brand new Bentley, but once I had my brand new Bentley, it didn't seem near as important anymore because I went and fulfilled that dream. That was really more what it was about. So once I had it, then it wasn't nearly as important to me. It was like I chased it, chased it, and then I got it. Now I'm like, now what? What? How can I really impact? And a car is not that important anymore to me. Yes, I have things like that, but that's not my center point. It was the center point in my life for years and years. I had Bentley on my, my, my vision board. That's all I had.
Isn't that interesting?
You evolved. Yeah. Well, there's a book by Dick Vitale that, uh, uh, was it Money Now? I believe is what it's called, where he just talks about money is simply a tool. That is all it is. And then once you understand that, it just kind of erases that. You talk about anybody, talk to anybody that really truly has money, things like that don't matter. But when you don't come from anything, that's what you chase. You chase to get the— you know, we talked about certain brands of clothes and shoes earlier. When you don't have any money, the first thing you want to do is pair of brand new Louis Vuittons or something on, which I have plenty of. And you put them on to show people, hey, I finally made it. I finally made it. Or drive the Bentley or drive the whatever car it is. Or, you know, so many people have different versions of their success.
Yeah.
But once you have that version and once you have that, then what do you do? That's not where it wears off very quickly.
Yeah.
Because it's that, that, that, that dopamine that you had to get. And once you have that dopamine, the very next thing you have is— well, I know when I hit that $11 million, you know what happened? Not one of my friends could go take a trip with me. Matter of fact, we're talking about travel. None of my, my friends had the money I had. They had to get up the next day and they had to go to work. My dopamine just dropped. And so I put my hat around backwards, just like your hat right now. I said, now let me start mentoring. And that's when I started mentoring people in this industry. It wasn't until nobody made— had millions of bucks in their account like I did. I put my hat around and that's when I started mentoring those thousands of people. And now, as you and I talked about, Lord willing, by the end of the summer, I'll create over 250 millionaires in this industry. Wow.
Yeah.
So which is pretty cool. That to me is— that's really cool. And these are families. I could, I could say names, but I don't want to put people out there. But they would say it's okay. But I still want to put their names out there. People from all over, they're like, man, they started with me for less than $10,000 or $15,000 or $20,000, but they've been with me for several years. We just doubled down on each project, each project, each project, and I'll have I have, you know, literally 200+ people that make over $5 million with me this year, which is really cool. So, but it takes patience. And that is the biggest thing I tell people. It's not going to happen overnight. You have to be patient. You didn't get in your situation overnight. You're not going to get out of your situation overnight. We're not, we're not playing the lottery. We're playing the long game, but we are doing it the right way. And that's very, very important.
And it's amazing. Whoever's listened to this, I mean, your, your world, you know, however the energy has brought you here, and this is an opportunity, right? This is the world saying, hey, you know, if you want it, there's something for you. So I think people are lucky to be at least catching a glimpse of the possibility.
There's possibility there all day long. And I'm extending this invitation out. That's why you invited me out here. You know, once you hit this, it's not about me anymore. I'm not on here to sell software notes. I'm on here to educate and show you guys how to do it. I'm going to be just fine. I've got 9,000 of these across 15 brands. I'm making my own money. I'm trying to extend this out to you and your group and whoever else sees this is there is hope. And if I'm happy to educate you guys, if it never amounts to anything, that's fine with me. But at least know Go find an industry in blockchain, find a good network, find a good blockchain that has software nodes, be a part of that infrastructure, and make sure it's just a good group to help you with it. But that's where I'm here for.
Amazing. Thank you so much, Billy. It's been a fantastic conversation. Thank you for what you have brought, you know, to the world. And I think it's going to make a lot of people very happy, very abundant. And, um, and I'm very grateful. Um, so congratulations for all that you've done and your tireless spirit to do more.
Well, thank you. I know that you're going to be traveling with us as well. We've already been on one trip, so many, many more to go, and we're looking forward to the next one. And thank you for having me. This has been awesome.
