MoMetrics Media, a Southeast Texas company, donated its August 2014 sales to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The MDA operates nearly 200 local offices and runs programs like medical exams and summer camps for children with muscular dystrophy.
The Muscular Dystrophy Association is thankful this morning for a donation from a local Southeast Texas company. MoMetrics Media donated a check to the association from its portion of August sales in 2014. Muscular dystrophy is a disease that weakens a group of muscles. MoMetrics says with this check, it hopes to promote and raise awareness of MDA and hopefully encourage others to do the same.
People don't realize, you know, what can I do? It's what we do together, and every penny does help. We have so much that we have going on, and companies like Mommetrix make that possible.
The Muscular Dystrophy Association has nearly 200 local offices across the country. Services include medical examinations and summer camps for children. So I'm sure that's going to help them a lot. That's great.
Yeah, no doubt. 30 years affiliated with MDA, I know a lot of kids don't go to camp if they don't get that kind of money. Yeah, so it's very important. So yeah, it means a whole lot to them, no doubt.
