Today's discussion, as we said before earlier, as I had promised you before, is beyond Canada, the immigration possibilities, the countries where you can immigrate beyond Canada. Because as you had seen in my last video, possibly, that immigrants are now leaving Canada in hordes. So what, where do we go if you are not happy in your own country, right? Stay in with me. And take your cup of chai and sit down with me for this podcast. Cheers! Our hearts beat to the city streets. We begin to feel the fire. We rise like tall buildings as the chemicals they take us higher. The night. Thanks for tuning into my channel. So I've never introduced myself in my podcast before, so let me— I thought let me, you know, do something about it, some start somewhere, because I assumed that people knew me. So, um, I'm Kaberi and I live in Canada. I immigrated myself with my son to Canada and then my husband joined in later. So, um, I am an author, a journalist, An editor, a publisher, and a poet. I have several books published, and and now I'm podcasting for a podcast host for this channel from Frontline and Chai. Okay, and this channel intends to discuss a topic with which is a T to T with you kind of a thing where you can sit with your own cup of tea. This is not a podcast as per se, but is very casual, and I just talk from my heart basically. So I have some points written down somewhere, like in this notebook. So you can, if you, if you have any questions, please put them in the comment section. I answer to everybody. So please like and subscribe to my channel if you like it. And if you can also check out the email below if you want to be a part of this channel. So having said that, let's talk about the possible destination that you have. If you are thinking of not coming to Canada, so earlier what happened is that earlier, as I said, in in our times, so Canada was the most most wanted destination, you know, in the world. So most of the most people wanted to come to Canada; they would give their hands and legs to come to Canada. Now what happened is that last if you look into my last video where I said. How you know immigrants are now leaving Canada in hordes? There are seven reasons why, like seven visible visible reasons why people are leaving Canada, and in fact why even I am contemplating and going back to my own country. So there there are but for young young people like you and for people who are stuck in war zones and Uh, you know, terrible economy, economy falling apart, that kind of places. So they would want to immigrate to Canada and to other countries, you know, to start a better life. And often you just, you just boxed up in your own world so much that you want to explore other countries, but you don't want to land into a country where they promise you a lot but at the end of the day you get nothing. Though Canada that way isn't It's still better if you come in, you get a lot of child support benefits, and you get a— you are promised a lot of health benefits. Of course, you get a lot of free healthcare immediately walking into a clinic and getting the immediate healthcare is always there. And emergency, and like if you call 911, they're always at your service. So that is there. But there are a lot of healthcare possibilities which are healthcare nuances that has come up over the period of the last 15 years that I have been in Canada, and I've seen healthcare in Canada fall apart, literally falling apart. So I've discussed all that in the, in the video which will just follow right at the end. So just click on that link. Okay, so now when we talk about going to other countries other than Canada, which other countries do you think you can immigrate to? Supposing you are— let's not talk about India because India is really a growing economy. So right now, people I've known, a lot of friends, a lot of my friends who don't want to leave India, they are settled in Bangalore and Hyderabad and they're settled in Bombay and, you know, they're flourishing literally. They're going all over the world, they're traveling all over the world, but they don't want to immigrate and settle in another country. I really like that. I wish it was like that back in my days and I didn't have to immigrate. But India has its own problems. It has the terrible education system, which is still, you know, needs to upgrade itself. So which is the reason why people with children want to make it out of India, go out of India and settle out of India. Because Canada is a heaven for children. Now you have to split, you know, you have to make up your decision whether you want to come to Canada or stay back in your country. And the children suffer in your own country. The children are really suffering. So let's talk about a few countries that we can— there are options, the options beyond Canada. Okay, so first up there is Germany, now known for its Be a good destination for you. But let me tell you a few, give you a few tips before going to Germany. Come in as immigrants or as refugees. Are boxed in a certain pattern. They are not given the jobs, the kind of jobs they deserve. They are often working as laborers, just like in Canada. So often, but at least Canada you can work your way up. But, and who also do not, uh, they are a voluntary organization who apparently work towards, uh, you know, aiming the mainstream, the refugees and the immigrants to join the mainstream job market and get the job according to their own skills back home. So, uh, and second thing is you need to know German. The language is very difficult to learn at such a later age. You need to know German to get into the real crux of the job force. These are the 2 major hindrances in, in going to Germany. Okay, so I have made a list of the nice places that you can go. And of course, the top of the list is definitely— there's, there are some interesting places like New Zealand. You can go travel to New Zealand. That is another new upcoming opportunity. New Zealand, a popular destination for immigrants, and because of a skilled migration program. So however, to qualify for this program, there are several criteria you have to meet. For starters, you have to be under 50 years of age and be highly skilled in your field and have work experience. Okay, but if you meet this criteria, you can live in New Zealand for 2 years and apply for resident visa. Then we have Australia. Okay, so Australia migration program is one of the most efficient in the world, but why I didn't go to Australia was probably because Australia is very racist. It was. I don't know about the situation now, maybe it's really changed. So why I selected Canada over others was because Australia is very racist. Okay, so however, you have to be under 50 to apply in Australia, and you have to do required skills, relevant experience, and you have to score high in the scoring system. So if you're applying for points-based visa, that is. Next is a very interesting, uh, country to immigrate to, that is Spain. Okay, For natives of Canada and America, for natives of Canada and America, Spain is a very good country to immigrate. This is because North American language and cultural Spain and teach English. You can actually teach English in Spain if you're a native English speaker, which I think all Indians, most Indians are native English English speakers because they are born and raised in an English speaking. Speaking household and have gone to English medium schools where the first language is English. So if you can consider yourself a native English speaker if you have gone to an English medium school or, you know, boarding school and had your first language as English. So that way you can also apply over here, okay? And you can teach English. You can then transfer your work visa if you have another job outside the program And Spain is very popular with experts mainly because of its pleasant weather. Somebody give me a break, give a visit to Spain because I'm so tired of this terrible weather in Canada. And it's very low living costs than in Western Europe. The public and private healthcare is there and their education system is much better than, you know, a lot of other countries put together. Their education system is very good. Also, it's a beautiful country. You must have seen Zindagi Na Milegi Dubara. Spain is a beautiful country to settle in. Then we can you can also diversify yourself into another very interesting country that is Paraguay. So Paraguay is one of the it's a country in South America, and here's the map of Paraguay. Paraguay is one of the easiest countries to immigrate right now because of its investment visa and retirement scheme. Now, both these options make it effortless to obtain permanent residency and citizenship granted, but there is a catch. What is the catch? You need to be well off in terms of financial means. So how— what is the well off? What is— what is being well off? To get a permanent residency through investment, you need to have $5,500 in your bank Now, when I came to Canada, I had to have $18,000 in my bank account. So here, I just need $5,500 to be have in my bank account, and I can with that amount I can you can establish a company in minimum minimum capital of $5,500 the same amount and buy a piece of land for at least at least ten hectares. And then you are after your investment you can get a residency as fast as in three months. And then your citizenship after three years. So within those three years, you need to have to travel to Paraguay at least once. On the other hand, the retirement scheme for Paraguay allows it you to gain permanent residency if you can prove that you have a monthly income of at least thirteen hundred dollars. You, I am moving to Paraguay. If not in India, I am moving to Paraguay. Definitely, that's really so good. So I'll give you the link to these websites below so that you, you know, you can check it out yourself. That'll really help you and me too. So next one on the list is very, very interesting country to immigrate. It's Montenegro. Montenegro. So Montenegro has been excellent destination for immigrants primarily because of its low cost of living. So compared to other countries in Europe. And because it is dubbed as the new French Riviera, so most foreigners can get a one-year residence permit under employment if you get an employment over there. Okay, education or family reunification. However, one of the easiest ways to move there is to get a work visa. Although Montenegro, it's called Montenegro, has also launched a new investment program towards citizenship. $350,000 to take part in this program. Another one, another very interesting country we have over here is Czechia. So why Czechia? Because it's Czech Republic. Czechia, or Czechia, that's the word. I don't know how to pronounce it. So one of the main reasons of this Czech Republic is easy to move in is the high job vacancy in Europe. This has a very high job rate, so this job vacancies makes it relatively simple to find employment and move under there under a work visa. Usually get a work visa for a year and renew if your work contract is valid. Then after five years under temporary residence permit, you can apply for permanent residence. Then you can move into Portugal. Outside India, for children to study anywhere outside India is a very good idea because in India, if you are pregnant, you need to apply for a school. Like the moment you conceive, you are lining up in a school to get get your. Child admitted in the right kind of school. It's so competitive. It is so competitive, and children are running the rat race so much. Education is that is regarded very highly in India. If you are an IIT engineer or a you know MBA or something, it is all regarded highly inside India. Okay, it's not even regarded. People tell me that's not even regarded highly in. India, but outside India those qualifications really do not matter. You have to get this in your head. If you plan to go outside India, your MBA, your IIT will not come in handy so much. If you actually if you studied in that part of the world, maybe even if you done a done a small course, a professional diploma course somewhere. In your particular field, that comes in more handy than your huge medical or engineering degree back home. So before going into such huge commitments, plan your life ahead. You know, you might be able to do the same kind of job with just a 6 months or 10 months diploma program in this particular— in this country. So if you come here with a— like lots of people I know, they've done their graduation, they came to this the country, the country wherever they want to settle in, and they did a 10-month diploma program in that particular job field they want to work in, maybe IT, maybe computer, whatever, in this country or in the country you want to go, then your certification is much more valid than if you had done that a bigger course, bigger, you, you know, you worked your head off, you, so many engineers who are still like lining up outside all these engineering colleges and they're dying, they're literally dying. People are committing suicide because they don't get into engineering. In India, I'm I'm really I feel so sad for these students who are like dying every day. I saw this movie called Twelfth Fail. I couldn't see through it the whole way because I was so disgusted with the way the system treats the students and they are like there are Mushrooming people means agencies and organizations who are minting money out of you, trying to make you an engineer, trying to make you a doctor. आपको इतना बड़ा internet है, आप वहाँ पे जाइए, आप मेरे channel पे subscribe कीजिए, मुझे चिट्ठी लिखिए. So I give you the list guys. Now you explore. Let me also explore because I plan to move out of Canada very soon. It's so cold over here. It's Of course, my lovely Kolkata is always there for me. My Kolkata, I have my own home over there. Definitely, I will move into Kolkata, but just for the heat, I'm a little skeptical. But ठीक है, I'll adjust. Thank you so much for watching, and.
