It is almost summer! 🇨🇦

A walk through a Canadian neighbourhood at the start of summer during the pandemic. The creator notes how much easier it is to be a pedestrian here compared to India, the strange brightness of northern daylight, and an abandoned Target building surrounded by bollards and empty parking.

All right guys, so it's almost summer in Canada. We are in t-shirts, the people are out in summer clothes, and generally though it's still like I'm wearing— trying to wear a mask, it's very difficult wearing a mask and walking and talking. You have to breathe. I cannot breathe with the mask on, so I'll wear it when I reached the store. It's a nice pleasant kind of day and you can see the sunlight. The sunlight has no heat, it's just light. Most of the summertime, it lights— the sunlight is like that because it's in the northern hemisphere. So we are quite deprived of sunlight, a lot. Here's the car which comes and just comes to stop because I'm crossing. This is one great thing about Canada, that, yeah, generally people, pedestrians, are respected. They are given the first priority on the road, so nobody honks. Okay, so This is a beautiful landscape. You can see COVID is supposedly going to stay till 2020 end, so I don't know when I can get to my city. And be there with you guys. So this car is going to stop when we cross from this zebra crossing because you see pedestrians first. Nobody honks, nobody tells you get out of the way like in India. They scream and shout. So that's a few of the reasons why we like to stay back in Canada because you get the basic respect of being a human being. I'm very in, like, in a mood with these red balls. You cannot move them, the cement balls, but they've been left behind by Target, the company which owned this entire building for a few days and then left this entire building like in Empty, just left and went away. Those balls over there, those are cement balls placed on the road. This is the car park where when I first came here, I was standing in the middle of the car park and I had a head reel. I had my head reel because this was so huge. I found it so huge at that time, so vast and empty initially when I came, but now I'm used to it. It's a nice car. So then, and the grocery store, which is right over there, okay, that's Zen. There is a— okay, I'll show you the balls. Nice balls, right? You can see. Let's go to my son walking me. Some of the people are here walking. It's a nice stretch of walk. I just hope the shops are open now because they were closing at 8 o'clock. And by the way, it's like 10 to 8 or something. Look at the sun. It still has an hour to go, and it's daylight till 9:30 here in Dhaka in summer, and, uh, in winter it's till 4 o'clock. You can see here some birds. Oh, some birds as well. That's a rare thing to hear birds, and that's a sparrow. Some people are still wearing masks behind me. Most of them are not. I wouldn't be. I cannot believe I'm wearing black shoes. Actually, getting ready. Okay, so people look at you when you're making a movie. I don't like it. Otherwise they won't look. But when you just when you make Okay, so I'll call you— call off and see you in my next video. Bye-bye.
