In this March 2020 vlog, Kaberi Dutta Chatterjee records herself at a Tim Hortons in Canada, offering a first‑person snapshot of daily life as the coronavirus pandemic began to take hold. She notes that streets, parking lots, and store aisles are unusually empty, while a few people are present, most wearing masks. Kaberi emphasizes the heightened focus on hygiene—she constantly sanitizes her hands and the tabletop she works at. She mentions panic buying, describing it as more alarming than the disease itself, yet reassures viewers that she and her community are “all well” and taking precautions. The tone is conversational and reassuring, aiming to calm nervous viewers by sharing a calm, observational view of the local situation.
