In this YouTube short, the presenter reports that Sriracha hot sauce, normally a cheap green‑capped condiment, is now scarce and being resold for up to $80 on eBay and Amazon. The shortage is traced to a lack of red jalapeño peppers, the key ingredient, caused by extreme heat and historic droughts in California, New Mexico, and Mexico—effects the speaker attributes to climate change. A manufacturer statement is quoted, noting uncertainty about when supply will normalize. The clip briefly mentions a person named Hu Foy, though the context is unclear.
