Hey guys, today is my first experience in a VR cafe. I'm very excited. It's called the Mirage VR and I'm walking in right now. Very excited. In my life, in this, these times, I cannot just imagine that I can actually walk into a VR cafe and I'm going to enjoy it. So I hope my son takes my video while I am wearing the headset. Okay, so we are walking in right now and I'm very excited. Is this your first time?
Okay, okay. Do you guys play video games at all or no? I do. What do you play? Um, it's fun. God of War. Oh, okay, good. So you're like a single player guy? Yeah, I am too. I'm like huge into— I need to play God of War. I bought it day one, put like 2 hours into it, and I'm like, okay, I'm gonna play Elden Ring. My friend and I did it yesterday. It was insane. Oh dude, like, okay, that was the first 2 hours. Like, we were like tapping each other up. It was crazy. That was nuts. All right, we just think, guys, we're gonna give you guys a quick rundown on how everything works and we can get going.
Okay.
All right. Alrighty guys, so just a quick heads up. So if I'm looking at the mask like this, that would be the equivalent of me looking through it and looking straight. So if I point the mask at the ground, that's the equivalent of me looking down at the ground. You guys will notice a big orange square on the screen. That orange square is the boundaries. So all that means is that, for example, if you walk up to a wall, an orange grid's gonna pop up. You just want to make sure that you're only within those boundaries. Sorry, the flickering is because my hand is covering the signal.
Yeah.
Um, but yeah, you just want to make sure that you're always within the boundaries at all times. This is just for your own safety and so that the game can communicate with the cameras as necessary. But other than that, we can get on to the controls. When it comes down to the controller, you guys are going to be having one of these in each of your hands.
Yeah.
Mainly there's 2 really important buttons on these things, and that is the menu button right here, which is this little green button above the— sorry, this little button above the green light. So if you hit the menu button, I'll show you guys right now, it'll bring this up on your guys' screen. It'll be a whole list of games. So if you ever want to change by yourself, you can do that. If not, I can always change the games for you guys remotely. On top of that, another button that you guys need to know is the trigger button on the back. So these triggers are super important because in most of the games that you're playing, as well as on the menu, it allows you to select things and pick things up. So it's really important that when you guys are holding the controller, you're holding it like this and you're not holding it like this because you might jam the button and then you won't be able to press it. And it's really important that you are able to press it.
Hold it like this?
Yeah, hold— you're gonna hold it like this or like this, whatever's comfortable, so long as you can press these down.
Press this down, okay.
Yeah, you just don't want to do it like this because you're gonna jam the button and you can't press the button.
Okay, oh yeah, that way. Yeah.
Other than that, if you guys need to know any specific buttons for a game that you're playing, I will come help you guys out. But we can get you guys geared up now if you want.
Are you going to appear in VR in the—
I'm not going to appear. I'm just going to be on the outside supervising you guys. If you want to keep recording, you can, like, for example, like put like your camera up against this and then you can aim it at you guys like this.
Yeah, but it's up to you guys.
Yeah, we're gonna have you guys set up on those 2 stations. So sir, if you want to go stand over there, ma'am, if you want to set up your camera.
Yeah, I wear glasses. So how does this work?
Okay, so then we'll just—
that is like, how do I adjust? If I am wearing glasses?
Oh, it already— it's already ready for your glasses. So we padding on there, that padding is for your glasses. It allows your glasses to fit in.
Oh yeah, I can go in with my glasses?
Yeah.
Oh, okay, that's, that's great.
And then, uh, you might get a little warm, so I do recommend you take that off.
Yeah, I'll take that off. I'll take this off. Why would I get warm?
Pardon me?
What? Why would I get warm?
Oh, just because you might be moving around in the game and everything.
Okay, not, not anything else. Okay, so my son is going in. He's going into the VR.
Just on your eyes, make sure you can see clearly. The lens kind of sliced a little bit. Well, then sliced. All right, I'll fix that for you. That should fix that for you. Now it's black. Yeah, it'll just really come back on.
Which is the button to adjust the focus?
Do you need to adjust anything? Like, do you need me to make it tighter, looser, anything like that? Uh, no, it's just everything's a bit blurry. A bit blurry? Uh, mine's being pulled up a little bit. Is that better? That is better, yes. Yeah, there we are. Just out of it for me, sir. I'm gonna give you your controllers now. Here you are, sir. There you are. All right, perfect.
Let's go in.
Okay. Alrighty, ma'am, I started recording again in case you want to explain multiplayer.
That would be great, thank you so much.
No worries.
I'm with my son and I'm teleporting right near him. There I am beside him, he's here. I've teleported beside him and he's shooting a lot of people. Uh-uh, I give— that was not a headshot for me. Or for my son, I don't know. He's getting a lot. So what happened? Where is the black arrow? He's shooting green arrows, green arrows. I'm shooting blue arrows. We're together. Yeah, we shotgun man. I don't know why we're shooting, but we're together. Ah, I shot you. That's that.
Where am I?
I don't even know where I am. Virtual reality. I'm standing on the cobblestone wall kind of fortress. It's beautiful. It's mind-blowing. I can't believe I'm standing on such a beautiful relic. And my son's hand is right here in front of me on my head. I don't know where he is in real time. There are huge statues on this side. One is a broken statue, headless statue. And this is usually essentially a stone kind of a temple, broken temple all around me. And so beautiful. There are big wooden crates over here. There's a huge man coming from there. Go, go, go! Hit him, hit him, hit him! Oh my God, he's so big! Did I hit him? No, I didn't. Okay. You're breaking in. I'm not breaking in.
Yeah, but it's gonna be possible to do something for us.
Can you just tell me what these backpacks are for?
Sure, I'll tell you what I know about them.
Yeah, just a little bit. They're like computers?
So they're basically like actually putting a laptop on your back except there's no display. So what we do is we fire up TeamViewer on our own computer and that allows us to view what all these computers are up to. Yeah, they're all MSI computers. It came like this. You just throw it on your back. It allows you guys to walk around completely wirelessly. The only thing you're attached to is your headset, and that's what gives us the ability to have this free roam space over on this side. Most people in their homes really don't have the space for something like this, so we try to offer this to our customers because you guys can always play those at your own house, but this side is more like you need the room and the equipment for it, right? These wrist trackers as well that allow you to play without a controller.
Controller.
Okay, so over on that side you would be pressing buttons. On this side you do everything with your hand and hand movements, and these wrist trackers allow— is what make that— sorry, these wrist trackers is what makes that possible. Do you want to take a seat for me, man?
You can get me set up. Yes, I'm like a child, uh, going to an elementary school.
No, trust me, I was the same way.
Yeah, learning, uh, the basics of A, B, C, D.
All right, man, basically like this, just roll up both your Face these for me and then we'll put this on.
You might want to put your watch in your pocket.
Okay.
All right. The ring's okay?
Yeah, yeah, ring is fine. All right, you can put your hand right through. There we are.
Yeah.
Now, where's your facing right now? Back of the lumbar?
There we are.
Not loose? All right. साइड पे हैं तू डेट वन। माय गॉड, आई एम गोइंग। मैं लुसन दिस फॉर यू। देर यप। लुसन दी अदर साइड फॉर यू एस वेल। I can see this. I don't need it. There we are. Alrighty, man.
You're gonna better. My God, I'm going on a trip.
Recording please. Perfect.
Perfect.
Sorry.
Okay, so we are going somewhere camping. This is really good stuff. Real stuff.
Yeah, you guys want to pay attention to this big portal? An important message is about to pop out. Okay, okay, so we're making contact. No worries, you guys enjoy yourselves.
Okay, loading the forest. This only protects the forest. Balthazar has used magic to create— attack?
No, no, strike on the— you're— use your fire attack.
And then I'm closing it and what happens? Oh God, it's glitching. My arms is ready.
All righty guys, you guys might notice some wooden test dummies around you guys. Now's a great time for you guys to practice your abilities. If you guys have any questions about your abilities, I'm also here to answer them for you at any time. Whenever you guys feel like you're done practicing, you guys can put your hands on that center stone structure.
That's excellent. I just tried to kick it. Everybody's going to laugh at you.
Very nice. Frozen and smited.
Okay, I don't know what. Do. Are you connect me? हाथ तभी है जोड़ी नमः। वो connect me तो नहीं। हाथ तभी है जोड़ी नमः। What my what gestures?
So behind your ear?
Behind my ear?
Yeah, point to your ear. Bring it down. Look at the test dummy first. No, so actually that— she doesn't have that ability. All right, ma'am, so if you put your arms out wide like you're giving a hug and then bring your arms in like you're clapping, you should summon a rock wall in front of you. Did you see that? Did you bring up a rock wall? Yeah, so that's your rock wall. Now if you pretend like you're flipping a table.
Yeah.
With both hands. You gotta flip a table with both hands at the same time. You should bring up an ice wall.
Yeah, this side.
All right. And then lastly, if you put your arm to your chest and then put your arm out, you should throw out a fireball.
Oh, no wonder I was—
And those are your 3 abilities. And Priest, I think you're already good with your 3 abilities, right? Yeah.
All right. This is very serious business, okay? Don't laugh at us. It's really not fun. My back is paining with this huge computer.
I healed you.
You're fine. No, it's that's that's virtually really no. Really, my back is aching. Alrighty, whenever you guys are ready to continue. Oh, sorry. Sorry. Oh my God, what am I doing? Yeah, move it. Burn, burn, burn, burn, burn.
I'm healing you right now. You do the same thing.
You're getting healed. Yep. Yeah, on the back.
Awesome.
