Based on what I just read, I think we're close to seeing the day where grocery stores run out of real food. This is where we're headed if we don't act now. Let me tell you what's going on. According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, we've lost over 200,000 farms since 2007. That's not acres; that's entire farming businesses shut down. Meanwhile, the world population is expected to grow by 2.3 billion by 2050. We need to feed nearly 10 billion people by 2050, which require a 70% increase in food production. Meanwhile, farms are shutting down. This is a global problem. Nearly half the countries in Europe have also. Had farmers protesting over environmental rules imposed by the EU preventing them from continuing business, forcing them to shut down. Let's back our farmers. Buy local, buy regenerative. Make sure you buy real food, not stuff coming out of a box. Educate the next generation. Let them know about their food supply. We need people to back this up so our farmers stop shutting down.
