So many homeschool parents have asked me, well, how do we know if we're successful? That's a huge question, but I would say, how do we know that the school system is successful? Was it successful for you? Did you come out feeling completely competent, confident in yourself, knowing what you were interested in, having an idea about a career, and feeling ready to launch into that career? I think for a lot of us the answer would be no. Certainly for me it was no. I spent a decade trying to undo the education that I got, for lack of a better word. So I've set out to do things radically different. I want my child to come out the other side of this time we call education as a confident, awesome human being. And I do a lot of thinking and a lot of even revisiting what that means to me and what I want for him in his life. I found that when I graduated college and I started traveling, that travel was the singular most important aspect for learning for me. And I learned more in that first year than I felt like I did in years of formal education. So I wanted to give him that. And we have set out on a life of travel, and we've lived in 4 countries, and, and that's really important to me. But that doesn't mean that that's your vision for your child. So that's why I really advocate for going through what I have created in Radical Reset. It will really walk you through what's important to you, what is your bucket list What is your direction for where you would like to see your kids go and how you think you can best give them the life of their dreams to allow them to be successful, to allow them to launch and do amazing things that they want to do.
