Your first hire should be hopefully someone who's seen some other pieces of companies before so they can bring in some context into their role. And that's what's going to help you from falling into the trap of theory. The other piece is in those early hires give them as much visibility into the full lifecycle as possible. The more that you are building a customer centric experience, the better your results are. On the other side, nothing, nothing crushes a prospect soul faster than having to tell their story 10 times, pre sale, post sale, et cetera. If you want to slow down your pipeline, ask them the same question 10 times. And so that early hire. I love a generalist to start, right? I actually love being the first hire because then I can kind of figure out like, where are the gaps? And I've done this a couple of times.
