In this brief opening address, the speaker—representing the Board of Directors, volunteers, staff, and families—thanks attendees for braving a cold, rainy morning to support a community breakfast held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. He acknowledges the venue’s generosity and lists the event’s sponsors, including Wells Fargo, Steri‑Tek, Alston & Bird, Cardinal Partners, Starbucks, Harris Teeter, Chick‑fil‑A, Neatsweets, and Designer Glass Mosaics. The speaker also praises the volunteers, fellow speakers (Anne, Brennan, John, Sharon, and Justin), and the table captains for their role in promoting the organization’s programs. He invites interested participants to visit the nearby Crisis Center on East Boulevard for tours and more information about services, and closes with a wish for safety.
