Ramona Holloway shows how to spot a Trident maple by its three-lobed leaves shaped like a trident. The tree turns vivid red, orange, and yellow in fall and is part of Charlotte's urban forest.
Hi, Ramona Holloway here to show off this spectacular Trident maple, and it's easy to identify. It has the 3 lobes on the leaf, you know, like a trident. Now this one has a Trident maple condo. I'm going to show you up close. It is the it girl of fall. I mean, you will recognize her because she does all the things. Red, she goes Orange, she goes yellow. She's gorgeous. This is one of the reasons why people want to come to Charlotte. We are the City of Trees. Slow down, find a shady spot, and appreciate the beauty of the Queen City.
