Hello, this is Mrs. Riggins' office. Welcome to Country Day. Mrs. Riggins is one of the best people. She's always kind and she has a great attitude and she's just really nice and funny. She, she is always nice to the visitors that come to Country Day. Leaders at Country Day respect her for always having a smile on her face and bringing joy to the campus.
We began our lives together in high school, so I've known Robin since we were 14 years old. So it's— we've had a long journey together. I do have a story about being in her dorm room in college and seeing Robin had highlighted her notes for class, then she had highlighted her highlights, and then she had highlighted her highlights. So we had different colors going on. She always dots her i's and crosses her t's.
Anytime I'm with Robin, no matter where we are, We can't go, we can't even walk a couple steps because people, throngs of people just come up and want to see Robin. They swarm Robin. I think she's the most popular person I know.
A quick 30-minute trip, it quickly turned into an hour plus.
Yeah, they're young, they're kids, they're older people, they're Country Day members, they're not. Everyone loves Robin.
She's, she's had just such an incredible impact on, you know, not just our lives, but the school and everyone around the school. Mom is a great example of Bucks for Life because of her dedication and her longevity of her career, 35 years and still counting. My wife Lauren and I give generously in Robin's honor because we're just truly grateful for the impact she's had on Country Day and on our family and the community that she's created. We wanna help support that for now and for years to come.
She is the first face that a lot of people see when they come to Country Day, and she sets the tone with her warmth and her empathy and her kindness. And I think she just really helps families understand what it's gonna be like to be a part of the family here, and she's the perfect ambassador for Country Day. Robin's grandma name is Birdie, and so she is the best Birdie ever.
Coco loves going over and having to spend the nights with her on Friday nights, and I couldn't, couldn't ask for a better Birdie.
Absolutely.
Nobody would have been more proud of this recognition than Dad. Always, of course, supportive and proud of her for her efforts and her hard work at Country Day, and You know, he would have been, he would have been at the top of the list.
Elegance, compassion, and thoughtfulness. Those are the words that describe my dear friend for the last 25 years. Everybody that meets Robin comes to know her, comes to love her. If you've ever been in her office, just take a look at the pictures that she has. Students and families over generations. When I think about who epitomizes love and community at Charlotte Country Day, it's Robin Riggins.
