Hi, I'm Priscilla Wallace with C-Matic. We're here at the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce, and today we're talking about ways to help businesses save money. We have a panel of experts who know how to take technology and really make a difference in your supply chain bottom line.
The biggest mistake that technology— that companies make when it comes to utilizing technology in supply chain is that they first try to lay the technology on before the right processes are in place and the right people are in place.
It's been a great benefit to us. It's helped us out in managing our staff as far as how much time they need to spend in the field, how much time they need to be in office. So we're much more productive and much more efficient. So technology is a tremendous help, and we'll always continue to look for ways that we can continue to increase technology in our processes daily.
As we look at how we're across 4 states with 21 hospitals, 16 within Novant, 9 that we have in our shared services, as we look at When you look at how we can automate technology and deliver supplies, it becomes more affordable for the patient because we're taking waste out of the system.
