In this short promotional interview, staff and members of Cypress of Raleigh describe their holistic wellness program. They explain that the program integrates multiple dimensions of wellness—physical, intellectual, and spiritual—through a variety of group classes such as tai chi, yoga, daily strength and balance sessions, and pool workouts that use noodles and dumbbells. Personal trainers are also available for individualized support. The campus offers additional amenities like walking paths around a lake and bike routes, encouraging outdoor activity. Participants highlight the social benefits, noting that regular interaction fosters friendships and a strong community spirit.
At the Cypress of Raleigh, our core wellness program really is a holistic approach. to member health and wellness. It's group activities, group classes, all the way down to the ability to have personal trainers.
Fitness is so important, whether it be coming to tai chi and yoga, or if you prefer the pool. You know, sometimes we, we use the noodles, we have little dumbbells that we use in the pool, and then there's a strength and balance class every day that we use weights, resistance bands, and things of that nature. Whatever your preference is, we have it here. The emphasis is on keeping you well.
Well, there are a lot of varieties, so people can choose almost anything they want. Katie has been adding all kinds of things. She makes us do lots of balancing exercises, and I can tell a real difference.
So the Cypress of Raleigh embraces the dimensions of wellness. That's certain things like physical wellness, intellectual wellness, spiritual wellness, and we do that on a beautiful campus that is full of amenities. Wellness could mean a walk around the lake. It could mean a bike ride around the campus.
Plus, it's just fun with the, the people that are there. Everybody's enjoying themselves, and we've all gotten to be better friends because we see each other every day, and it just makes for a good community.
My goal is just to get them more active in a more enjoyable way, whether it be balance, strength, walking. It's just to help the members live a better life.
