Diane is awesome. She does more things at this school that people are completely unaware of. You know, she's one of those people that is here in the summer and she's here late at night and she does all kinds of work with our data management and nobody really gets to see that.
She just does things You don't fully get when she's scheduling. We have basketball up top and she has to figure out things in the granular level, like she can't have choir being scheduled when PE is happening because boom, boom, boom, boom. And so there are things about how she does her world as a schedule we're going to miss. And we're just going to miss her professionalism and just the way in which she helps the institution.
People value her opinion. She's a problem solver, but more importantly than that, I think she's a problem preventer. Anytime when I was at the middle school for a number of years, anytime I had an idea that involved anything particularly complex, you had to talk to Diane through it because she could stop you from going down a lot of, a lot of bad paths, a lot of dark alleys that, you know, you, you, there's no sense in going down that way. So it's like an umpire at the end of a game. If you don't remember the umpire, then they did a great job. If the schedule's out in August, if the grades are done, if the If the subs show up where there's needing to be, then that means Diane did a great job behind the scenes, but nobody notices, and that's what she's about.
Diane, congratulations. Well deserved. Go Diane! Love ya!
