I chose Gardner-Webb because it's the perfect size. You get to know a lot of people. It's like a community. You get to know your professors and they become your friends later on.
I come here and it's like I can't imagine not being at Gardner-Webb. And like it really has become my home.
Coming from a different state, it was just really incredible because I didn't have to go to others and they started to talk to me and want to get to know me and that made me really feel welcome and loved and valued. And then I just met lifelong friends that I'll be able to carry throughout the rest of my life.
Gardner-Webb is home. It's been truly a privilege to grow up in this great town. It was ultimately my choice, and I still chose Gardner-Webb, and I'm all the better for it.
Gardner-Webb Athletics lives up to the Bulldog. We're really tough, we're gritty, we get the job done. You know, we work hard.
Because of me transferring to Gardner-Webb, it truly made me think like, wow, okay, I can do this. Because doing everything hands-on, it makes me feel better and more confident in what I can do.
There's a lot of opportunities on campus. There's just a lot more fun around here. So when I stay on the weekends and stuff, I usually can go downstairs and see what's going on in student activities or what's being offered around the campus. There's a lot of stuff you can do.
I can definitely say I feel really, really privileged to have been able to be a student here. I really wanted to be at a place where I could tell that the institution was going to support me in pursuing God's calling for my life. As a graduating senior, I can definitely say very comfortably that I feel prepared. Battle on!
