The admissions video for Gardner‑Webb University compiles short, enthusiastic testimonials from current students, alumni, faculty, and community partners. Speakers repeatedly emphasize the university’s small‑school atmosphere where individuals are known and valued, highlighting close relationships with professors, a vibrant student‑section culture at football games, and a family‑like community. They describe concrete outcomes such as internships with congresspeople, a required communications‑program internship, pathways to top‑tier law schools, medical school ambitions, and strong employer reputation in the Charlotte business market. Faith‑centered values are presented as a core part of campus life, encouraging students to live out their relationship with God in community. The surrounding town of Boiling Springs is praised for its small‑town charm, Southern hospitality, and friendly environment. Finally, a study‑abroad experience in Sweden is cited as a confidence‑building moment that prepares students for the “real world.” The overall narrative positions Gardner‑Webb as a supportive, faith‑infused, and career‑oriented institution where students thrive personally and professionally.

I feel like there's never a bad morning here at Gardner-Webb. I love the people here. I love this small community, the environment. You feel like you're more than a number, you're a person. Student section is great. All the students get together, they sit in the front at the football stadium, cheer on the football team, get loud, get crazy.
My favorite part about Gardner-Webb is the professors that I've met. I know my brother and sister go to a bigger school, and I know there you're really just a number. And here, you know, you're more than just a number, and I really appreciate that.
Our students go places. Our students have internships with congressmen. They have internships in local and state government. They are going to top-tier law schools.
And I would say that being in the business environment in Charlotte, Gardner-Webb really does have a name of notoriety, and, you know, it is actually a sought-after university when you're looking at graduates to hire. As part of the community In the communications program, an internship is a requirement. And, you know, I'm really thankful for that because had it not been for my internship, I don't know that I would have ended up where I am here today.
I'm planning to go to medical school. That's been my goal for the longest time, and they even encouraged me to achieve higher than I thought I could.
I would say Gardner-Webb is for God and humanity. That goes to the heart of relationships, that we want our students, faculty, and staff to have a relationship with God but to live out that relationship in community, and Gardner-Webb is a great place to be able to do that.
I just throw hammer. It's this ball on a wire, and then you basically just spin it in like 3 or 4 circles and you let it go. I really like Boiling Springs. I actually really like how small it is. I really like the Southern hospitality here. I didn't actually know it was a thing when I first came down here because like up there we heard, oh, like Southern hospitality. I'm like, oh, it can't be a real thing, but like People are so friendly here.
Team is a family atmosphere, a brotherhood. It's a small school, but people come out of here and make a name for themselves.
I mean, it was a gift to go to Sweden, but even more than that, it was preparing me for the next adventure that I'm going to have in life, no matter where it is. Just the confidence that they've given me, the experiences they've allowed me to have, has prepared me for what all college students refer to as the real world.
Gardner-Webb is a place of growth, and Gardner-Webb is home. Gardner-Webb is home.
