The video "Goodwill Who We Are" presents Goodwill’s mission of "changing lives through the power of work" and illustrates how the organization delivers that mission through a blend of training programs, social‑enterprise retail operations, and community‑focused services. Multiple voices—staff, instructors, program participants, and employer partners—share personal testimonies about renewed spirit, pride, and motivation gained from Goodwill’s support. The organization offers industry‑specific training (construction, banking, customer service, hospitality, tourism) and paid training through its recycling and staffing businesses. Goodwill’s retail model converts donated goods into revenue that funds 80% of its operations, generating $32 million in revenue and $11 million in net income, with 90 cents of every dollar returned to the community. The opening of a new Ballantyne store created over 20 jobs, exemplifying the social‑enterprise impact. Employers praise Goodwill candidates for their positive energy and work ethic. Overall, the video underscores Goodwill’s integrated model that connects donors, shoppers, job seekers, and employers to create jobs, provide training, and reinvest profits back into the community.
