When I was going through the recruiting process, I was looking for a more regional firm, but I was also very interested in international tax, which a lot of regional firms do not have the capacity to offer that kind of services. And when I was talking to a partner during my interview, he's actually an expert in international tax and compliance. Coming in as a fresh graduate, you actually don't know what industry you'll be interested in. They knew that I had an interest in international tax. I was put on a lot of projects that worked with international clients, and it was very great that I could incorporate my education and my interests into my accounting career. I don't think any other regional firms would start me up this early in my career.
