When I'm struggling in a class, I know a lot of people make the mistake of not asking questions or not raising their hand because they're scared or intimidated. And that's something that I've always tried to not do, is when I have a question or a concern, always Going to that teacher and getting that figured out, and if not through teachers, through study groups.

One of the coolest parts of my job is to read the applications when teenagers apply for the scholarship, and certainly I'm impressed with their academic success, but I'll say one of the, one of the most amazing things to me is the fact that teenagers are dedicating their time to service to the community. They really are caring about what's happening in Charlotte, and that is a really cool thing to read about.
I would say one of my favorite public services that I've been involved in is Special Olympics Camp Soar, which is a week-long camp every single summer. It's at the beginning of the summer for children with disabilities. It really kind of is humbling and it grounds you and It kind of teaches you that the, the big problems in life that we face are so minuscule, and it really brings you back to the true meaning of what life is.
