TPS Mississippi

TPS Global plans a high-security training facility in Gulfport, Mississippi to produce personnel countering terrorism and drug cartels, modeled after Jordan's KASOTC and a Baton Rouge program. Former State Senator Billy Hughes, CEO Francina Halras, and national-security veteran Norman Hooten back the project, which could revitalize the local economy and use the former Camp Shelby site.

America must have highly trained security personnel to face increasing threats from international and domestic terrorism and Mexican drug cartels. TPS Global, one of the most trusted tech security companies in the world, can provide workers with that advanced training. In Gulfport, Mississippi, TPS Global found one of the most distressed economies in America. Here, thousands can benefit from advanced specialized security training offered by TPS Global.
Well, we provide nuclear security. We've learned how to protect these facilities at the highest level, and we've also learned about the workforce. What we found over the past 10 years in our staffing and training, it works, and we want to open it up to the greater community. Today we're looking for a facility We have great support with our friends in Washington. It's going to take a community effort to make this happen.
Boosting that community effort is former Mississippi State Senator Billy Hughes.
I think there are a lot of opportunities for us. We expect a great deal of growth down here over the next 20 years. I'd like you to be a part of that, obviously. How often are you briefed by Homeland Security on threats?
Anytime I need to be.
Joining TPS CEO Francina Halras is U.S. military hero and national security expert Norman Hooten.
We're still looking at the business model. You know, I've got a couple of reference points to look at. One was the facility in Jordan that I worked at for 3 years called KASOTC, King Abdullah Special Operations Training Center. The other one is a program that's out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It's affiliated with the Anti-Terrorism Assistance Program at a state And I would like to replicate something like a hybrid between those two here in Mississippi.
At Congressman Steven Palazzo's office, the group learns of a former Army training facility, Camp Shelby, that already has infrastructure in place. We're certainly happy to help or point you in the right direction. As an advisor to TPS Global, Hooten explains his vision to the Mississippi Development Authority.
It's not just a military training base, it is a profit center. So, so other military units, law enforcement units, private security companies can come there and train.
We'd love to have you here, but we'd certainly love to have you in the region. Gulfport's open for business. We're serious about it.
TPS Global is also serious about Gulfport. They plan to choose a site for this inclusive, high-security training facility within months.
