TPS Welcomes Norman Hooten
In this introductory segment, Norman Hooten outlines his extensive experience in U.S. Army Special Operations and related training fields. He began his service in 1981 with the 5th Special Forces Group, spending a year in Saudi Arabia training Saudi Special Forces. His operational deployments included assignments in Lebanon, the Balkans, Panama, and participation in the Gulf War. After his combat roles, Hooten transitioned to the federal law‑enforcement arena, where he spent about seven years designing and delivering training for Air Marshals, gaining insight into civilian policing practices. He also conducted international training work in Jordan, noting the distinct challenges of cross‑cultural security instruction. Hooten frames this cumulative experience as a solid platform for building a business venture.
