Turn 2 for Youth puts used baseball gear into the hands of deserving kids, sharing the love of baseball and giving back to our communities and communities around the world.
It seems so simple, right? When, when there's gear everywhere in the U.S., we just sort of take it for granted. To see a kid who's never had a glove get a glove, it's pretty cool.
Never met a mother of a baseball player that doesn't have a bunch of junk in the closets that she wants to get rid of. So we're happy to take all that old stuff and we'll make it as new as we can make it and we'll send it to a kid that needs it.
Well, it's easy to have a passion for the game of baseball. I think my— when I think about my children, what I realized as a parent is it became a field for learning life values. things like perseverance and determination and resilience. It was so easy to then give back to the sport because we were gaining so much as a family.
Volunteers across America dedicate a little time, and that small effort can change the life of a kid forever. Coaches, parents, players give back, and it makes a difference.
Currently, we're partnering with the Miracle League, and it's been a fantastic partnership in that we are supply chain to get the gear into communities where the community is supporting Handicapped kids playing the game when years ago maybe they never would get a chance to play.
