We have excellent presentations every week.
I look forward every week to attending the Rotary lunch and to the program and being able to sit with somebody different every week for a new experience.
The meetings, the speakers that tell us about what's going on in our local businesses, nonprofits, and government, I feel like that helps me to be a good and informed active member of my community. The motto, Service Above Self, that resonates with me. It resonates with the way that I was raised.
Our devoted members make a powerful impact all across our great city. You'll find them on our streets ringing the bell for The Salvation Army, in our schools, on our greenways, and in our neighborhoods.
It's a family here, and it's, it's been beneficial to make these great connections and meet great people serving the community of Charlotte. I resisted joining Rotary for a long time, but once I joined, I wondered, why did I resist for so long?
It really is a very fulfilling and fun opportunity.
There's a core of people here who become very, very important to you. The relationships that I have made here, I cherish and will be here forever.
