Any one of us could be these women. I had mentors. I would not be where I am today if it had not been for a mentor relationship, many of them.
It's really a partnership between them and us. It's not just about us helping them with nothing in return. They're, they're very much helping themselves, and we're helping to just give them the wings to do that.
It empowered me. It strengthens your confidence as a woman, as a professional. They do it all through simple acts, simple selfless acts. There's nothing that they're gaining back besides the fact The fact that they know that they're helping another woman better, better themselves and ultimately push their growth.
It's a give-get. When you nurture and support someone's personal and professional growth, you grow too. You grow yourself.
WINGS is a program that really connects with you on a personal level, that it brings out the other side of you that you didn't even know existed.

The things that I've learned from my mentor, it can't be taught in the classroom at school. Things that I didn't learn in high school, things that I haven't even learned along the way of being an adult and being a mother. Toni now is— I believe in myself. I'm more patient. And I'm just— I'm excited about my life. I'm excited about what comes next and very hopeful for it.
