Good morning and welcome to the Daily Spark. I'm Kim Gaskill. How are you doing on this fabulous Wednesday? It's beautiful here in Arizona as always. And I was thinking this morning, whose voice do I listen to first thing in the morning? Whose opinion, whose influence is guiding me or moving me in a certain direction every day. And then I realized I have actually started listening to my own voice. My own thoughts first. I used to get up in the morning and listen to motivational things, inspirational things, educational things from other people. And I found that I struggled and I wasn't as productive as I am now in the morning when I take time for me and my thoughts. First. I get up, I get my coffee going, I open the door, I go outside, I breathe fresh air, I watch the sunrise, and I write. And I sit with my own thoughts. Sometimes it's just for a few moments, sometimes it's for an hour, and then I move on with my day. And I found that by doing that, I'm discovering who I am, what I want, and where I need to go. As entrepreneurs, we always feel that overwhelm and doubt whether we're going in the right direction. And I think a lot of times that comes from not listening to our own voice first. So here's my challenge to you. Before you listen to anyone else, me included, and it is good to listen to other people and other ideas. That's what makes us grow and helps us learn and move in the direction we need to go and recognize the direction we don't need to go sometimes. But before you listen to others and get influenced by others and get motivated by others, listen to your own voice first. That's all I got for you today. Check in next time for the Daily Spark.
