Good morning from Bentonville, Arkansas. I'm Kim Gaskill and this is the Daily Spark. It was a beautiful sunrise this morning and I did an Instagram post with the sunrise and my favorite stop at the coffee place, and I posted on there, it is going to be a great day. It wasn't too cold this morning. I didn't have to scrape frost off the window. Like, this is shaping up to the start of a wonderful day. So I get my coffee, I come out to the car, and I go to pick up my coffee cup. It was on my thigh, and I was going to put it in my coffee holder, and the lid was not on. Now, this could have been disastrous. I actually caught the cup with my other hand before it tipped over. So I didn't spill any, but my wonderful start to a morning could have been totally turned upside down by that one event. If I wouldn't have caught that cup and the coffee would have spilled all over in my car or on me, I would have immediately been angry and frustrated. It would have changed my entire mood. And that's what happens. Things hit us during the day that can totally wipe out the positive that we've got going. This energy, this wave, you, you can just be riding this perfect day and then something slams right into you and changes it and turns it upside down. Now that happens to me a lot, and, and I'm not gonna lie, I get mad, I get frustrated, but I have learned to try and make that feeling last as short of a time as possible. Find a way to move through it or move past it and get yourself back to that positivity that was flowing through you the moment before that thing occurred. Whatever that thing is. So my challenge to you today is get that positive vibe. Get that fun, fantastic, awesome feeling that the day is just going to be fantastic today no matter what. And when those little things try to hit you, move through them quickly and get back to that positivity. That's what I got for you today. Join me again tomorrow for another Daily Spark.
