It's a new day, and that means new possibilities. I'm Kim Gaskill, and this is the Daily Spark. This morning started off pretty good, and then they came in to draw blood. Now, I'm one of those people that you might have to stick me 3 or 4 times, and that's cool. I get it. My veins don't cooperate. They're tiny. And I'm used to that. What I don't like is when they miss the vein instead of pulling back, trying again in another location, they just kind of draw back the needle and then jam it in a little further and dig around trying to find the vein. That's not pleasant. And so it got me to thinking, because I was trying to get my mind somewhere else, Do you do that in your business? Do you take shortcuts when you know you've missed the mark, but instead of drawing back and refocusing in another direction, starting over somewhere new and doing it right, you just pull back a little bit and then slam forward in the same direction you were going that was a mistake in the first place? Place, which gets you deeper down that rabbit hole of being in the wrong direction. Sometimes it's good to plow ahead. Other times it's kind of a shortcut, and it's kind of the lazy way out. So are you doing that? In your life and in your business? Are you taking the easy way out? Are you taking those shortcuts and creating more problems for yourself? Or are you pulling back, taking another shot, another approach from a different angle to see if that works a little bit better? I'll catch you again tomorrow for another Daily Spark.
