Hey guys, it's a new day full of new possibilities. I'm Kim Gaskill and this is the Daily Spark. Wellness. Wellness is a combination of physical, mental, and emotional wellness. Now I say that because I'm struggling with all three. The physical wellness, that just takes time and work and effort, and that will get better. The mental wellness, I usually do pretty well with that. I've gotten to a place where I've built in techniques that I use to keep my mindset right, whether it's in my personal life, my business, The emotional wellness, that's what I seem to be struggling with a bit. And I'm not sure what I need to do to get that in check. You know, sometimes we do a really good job of finding ways to manage all three, but usually there's one that we struggle with. I help people with mindset quite often, but the emotional wellness, I'm reaching out to try and get some help with that. There's been a lot of major changes, and I'm usually not an extremely emotional person, especially in my career. I've really never been. I've had to be very non-emotional to get the job done. You can't let your emotions get in the way of being in a stressful emergency situation and having to deal with things properly. So since I've become a little more free with my emotions, uh, in the social media arena, It seems like that is kind of taking over now. And, but I, I found it funny this morning. I was looking up some, some things and, you know, I've always been of the mindset that there's basically the trio, the mind, body, soul, the physical, mental, emotional. But I found this thing today that says 7 dimensions of wellness. And there's a couple of new ones on here I wanna share with you. Tell me what you think. Social wellness: the ability to relate and connect with people in our world. To establish and maintain positive relationships with family, friends, and coworkers contributes to our social wellness. Of course, they list emotional and spiritual That they also list environmental, occupational, and intellectual wellness besides physical. All of the occupational, intellectual, and environmental have to deal with us being happy in our job or in the environment that we're in, in our homes, in our communities, in And then the intellectual wellness I thought was interesting. The ability to open our minds to new ideas and experiences that can be applied to personal decisions, group interaction, and community betterment. The desire to learn new concepts, improve skills, and seek challenges in pursuit of lifelong learning contributes to our intellectual wellness. So I'm thinking I got that one down pat. I've been a lifelong learning student and curious soul, and this journey that I've been on the last couple years definitely has expanded my intellectual wellness. But the emotional wellness, that's a struggle. I hope your trio, or the 7 dimensions, if you choose, are clear and concise and well and balanced. And if not, reach out, find a way to get them there. I'll talk to you again tomorrow for another Daily Spark.
