Welcome to a new day. I'm Kim Gaskill and this is the Daily Spark. How do you introduce yourself when you first get up in the morning? What's the first introduction to your spouse or your kids or even the day? How do you introduce yourself to the day? I'm normally very positive and calm in the mornings. I introduce myself to the day with a smile. It sets the tone for me to have a good day, to be productive, to be helpful and pleasant with other people, because my introduction to the day is good. That usually makes my introduction to other people good. And positive. Here it's been a struggle. My introduction to the day is usually frustrating. It's usually aggressive and loud and abrupt, and it sets that tone for me to have a bad day. And I've really struggled to keep a positive tone when that first introduction to people here or to situations here is so negative. And today was different. Today was good. The introduction to the day for me today actually made me smile. And I can tell the difference. I can feel the difference in how I'm gonna approach my day because of how I was introduced to it, because of how it was introduced to me. So think about that when you're introducing yourself to people or when you're introducing yourself to the day. How are you setting the tone with that introduction? When you're online and you meet somebody for the first time, are you just sending out a link? Hi, I'm Kim, here's my link, buy my shit. Because if you are, I can tell you right now you're setting the tone that nobody wants to set. Nobody wants that to be the initial introduction. When they first meet you. Build those relationships, make those introductions positive. Think about how you're introducing yourself to your spouse, to your kids, to your colleagues today. Set that tone positive and notice the difference. Catch you again for tomorrow for another Daily Spark.
