It's a new day full of possibility. I'm Kim Gaskill, and this is the Daily Spark. Do you do yoga or meditate? I've done both. I'm much better at meditation than yoga. Some of the yoga poses are a little bit difficult, and when I do yoga, I have to modify it. But that's okay. There are so many good yoga programs right now. If you go onto YouTube, you could find 20 different people that provide a free yoga plan and program through YouTube videos. Now you have to get somebody that connects with you. You have to get somebody that you enjoy their voice, you enjoy and connect with the way that they do their yoga, because if you don't you're gonna struggle. You're gonna be fighting, and it's not gonna be pleasant. So I challenge you to go find someone that you connect with on YouTube and add yoga into your routine. I can't do much right now, but I decided yesterday— I was talking about habits— I decided today I was going to start my day with bed yoga. I have to modify it. I can do just a few positions right now, but the ones that I can do— and, and yoga is primarily the breathing— but the ones that I can do, I did. And then I added— it was only about 5 minutes or so. I felt much better. Then I added a meditation. About 20 minutes of meditation. Now, I have done the Oprah and Deepak 21-day challenge meditation series, and it is available on YouTube if you haven't purchased it. It's a great series. They've done about 4 different ones, but the one on the journey to health, I've redone a few times, and I really enjoy it. And I decided today that I was going to start that again. So I'm on a 21-day meditation challenge and morning bed yoga. That's the habit that I want to get recreated for myself right now, currently, with what I'm doing. And I challenge you to go take a look and see if maybe that would be a good addition for your morning or for your evening before you go to bed. Whatever works for you, because that is the key. It has to work for you. You don't have to be a yogi to get something out of yoga. The process, the calmness, the breathing can do more for you than you realize. So check it out and join me again tomorrow for another Daily Spark.
