It's a new day full of possibility. I'm Kim Gaskill and this is the Daily Spark. I am sitting here looking at a jar of Skippy natural peanut butter with honey. This is my go-to, my snack, my meal. When I'm traveling, this is one of the things that I always have with me. It doesn't need to be refrigerated. It It's got protein, fat, and carb, so it satisfies me and it keeps me from making those bad decisions, like stopping at a fast food place when I'm hungry. And I got to thinking, you know, this is— this helps me. This helps me stay on track and not make bad choices. And I'm thinking in my work day, One of the things that I associate with that is my OneNote app. When I go to start a task or complete a job, if I don't have all the resources I need when I sit down to do that job, it either takes me twice as long or I don't finish it because I get frustrated because I don't have something I need. And I find that if I have all my resources that I can go to and, and choose from without being disrupted, I'm much more likely to complete the task. So what is your Skippy peanut butter? What is your go-to thing that you have all the time in front of you that you can go to to keep you from making those bad choices, to keep you from getting up to run and find the resources and interrupting yourself when you're doing jobs? Or keeping you on track with your food plan? Do you have the things you need close by to make those good choices? If you don't, think about that and put some effort into deciding what would be helpful and try it for a couple of weeks. Have that one thing always near you. Your go-to. Join me again tomorrow for another Daily Spark.
