It's a new day. I'm Kim Gaskill and this is the Daily Spark. I got up this morning, did my stuff, and when I got over to my phone, which I don't check first thing in the morning, but when I got over there and saw my messages, there was one that had a video attached in Messenger. So I played it from a friend of mine and it was a video of this guy comes bursting through the doors in a crowded airport screaming, "I did it! I did it!" And of course I have I, you know, he's like, I landed my first airplane. I thought it was a joke because I'm flying next week, but it was really this guy. It was the first plane he had landed, big plane. And, you know, he probably worked really hard to become a pilot, and he was excited, and he was, he was jumping up and down and dancing and hugging people, and he kept screaming, I did it, I did it, I landed my first airplane! And he's describing it, and he was dancing and happy. And, you know, I was thinking, okay, first of all, if I was on that plane, they'd be a little bit scary. Secondly, I'm thinking, that's pretty cool. This guy was so excited. He even said, my mom would be so proud of me. But he was so excited that I don't think he, it even dawned on him what impact that would have on the people in the airport, seeing a pilot come jumping up and down like a little kid, excited because he landed his first airplane. Not sure that's really appropriate for the passengers, but for him, I admire that he's celebrating his win. You know, I have another friend of mine that he screenshots when something great happens that he does, something that he's proud of, and he keeps those in folders. He calls it screenshot awesomeness, and Whenever he's feeling down, he goes and looks at that folder and looks at all of those things that he's done that he can be proud of. And that helps us keep going in those downtimes. Cause you know, we've all done a lot of really, really great things and we tend to forget those when times are, are low and when we're sad or mad or disappointed. But if you find a way to recapture those memories of awesomeness, the things that you've done that you're proud of, that are cool. Go back to those, revisit those, and celebrate again over and over because you earned it. So celebrate your wins today, and I'll catch you again tomorrow for another Daily Spark.
