It's a new day. I'm Kim Gaskill, and this is the Daily Spark. What do you think of when you think of the word hospitality? Right now I'm in a situation where I have been blessed by so many people that have provided such great hospitality to me. They've taken me in, they've allowed me in their homes, they've, you know, driven me around. They can't do enough for me. And I appreciate it so much. But usually when people think hospitality, they think about going on vacation or going to a hotel, or how can I get some perks, or take care of me, serve me. You know, hospitality is really just being nice to people, and I don't know why that seems to be a challenge. It shouldn't be something out of the ordinary to provide hospitality. I'm one of those people that I'm pretty comfortable allowing people to my home. I like people to come to my home and provide food and entertainment and shelter and whatever it is and be hospitable. To me, that's just being nice. It's just being human. So what do you think about when you think about the word hospitality? Are you one of those people that demands too much? Are you one of those people who gives too much? Or do you not think of it at all? Catch you again tomorrow for another Daily Spark.
