It's a new day. I'm Kim Gaskill and this is the Daily Spark. Indecision is one of those things that will hold you frozen in place. It's unbelievable. I'm watching The Bachelor. It's a reality show on ABC where a guy goes on to find love, dates 25 different women for several weeks, and hopefully having an engagement at the end with someone that truly loves him. And I'm saying this with a little smirk because it's absolutely hilarious to watch. Now, there have been some that actually made a connection and, and are still together, but for the most part, it's the same thing every time. The guy gets on there, makes a connection with several women, thinks he's on the right track, and then The ultimate thing happens with the other women in the house thinking that they have to help him, save him, or warn him about women that are there for the wrong reasons. Now this guy is totally beating himself up because he is second-guessing every choice he's made because he's listening to all of these women tell him when they leave. Be careful who you pick. There are women in the house that aren't ready for marriage. So he's second-guessing the relationships that he thought were on the right track. And we do that all the time. We— it's good to listen to other people, get information to make the best decisions we can, because the more informed we are, the better decisions we make, usually. But this guy is over-listening. He's not trusting his own judgment enough, and now he is stuck. He, he can't make any decision because he's just going around in circles. Sometimes you have to just trust your gut, make the decision, take action. If it breaks or falls apart, you pick up the pieces and you make another choice. But indecision will keep you frozen, will keep you going crazy doubting yourself, and that will get you nowhere. Because I know you know what to do. Just trust yourself and make that decision. Catch you again tomorrow for another Daily Spark.
