It's a new day. I'm Kim Gaskill and this is the Daily Spark. What would you do if social media shut down today? All of the friends and connections that you've made over social media ended today. I had that discussion this morning with a friend. I'm kind of in a funk and I wasn't sure what I wanted to talk about today, and we got to talking about how our relationships we built on Snapchat were so different than the relationships that we've built on Instagram. And since everyone moved over to Instagram, a lot of us have been feeling the same disconnect, the same problem or challenge with finding our groove, our purpose, our value. It was easier on Snapchat. We just got on and we had fun. We made friends. We didn't worry so much or concentrate so much on why we were there. We were just doing. Seems like now that we've all moved over to Instagram, we're overly concerned with why we're there, with what we're doing there. With how what we're doing there matters. And I think that's a disservice to us because we're moving away from— what I loved about Snapchat was the relationship building, and it seems so much harder and more calculated on Instagram. Now that might just be me, but if you're feeling that too, I would love to get a message from you and have this discussion. Further. My point to you today is find the people that matter and the relationships that matter and foster those outside of social media. Because if it stopped today, if everything ended today, would they disappear along with the platform? If they do Are you truly building the relationships that you want with people online? I'm gonna go look hard at that today as well. Catch you again tomorrow for another Daily Spark.
