Hey there, friends. Today I am going to show you how to download a Facebook video as an MP4 to your computer. I have people ask me this all the time. You used to be able to do it a lot easier than you can now. They've changed it. If you go look it up on Google, there are a lot of tutorials that tell you, like TechCrunch and stuff says go to the inspect the video and go to Network and Media and grab the URL. That's way too complicated. There's a much better way. Now, I have just finished doing some live videos using BeLive in my Facebook group, and I wanted to download those videos to my computer so I can edit them and repurpose some of the content. Now BeLive doesn't allow me to download the videos. I have to do it through Facebook. So what I do is I go to BeLive, or I can go to Facebook. If you're in Facebook, just look up the video you want. But I'm going to go to my broadcasts so I can find the videos that I want and download them. Now I've already done 3 and 4. I'm going to go here to Day 5. That's the link to my video on Facebook. Once I get on Facebook, if you're in Facebook and you have a video here, you're going to change this to M Basic. It used to just be M, now it's M Basic. So your first video, when you first see your video you're actually going to need to right-click on it to show the URL. That'll be the URL there. Now mine has it up here because I got it from DLive and it's right on that, but if it doesn't show the URL, just right-click on that, copy it, paste it in here, change this to M Basic, B-A-S-I-C, and then hit enter. It's going to bring your video up again. This time it's going to bring it up in a little smaller window. Now you can't right-click and save it right here. It's just going to save the image or the link. You have to actually play it first. And now in this window, you can pause it here, but in this window you would right-click Save Video As, and then give it a name. I'm gonna say Day 5 Build a Bot, and that's an MP4 video now saving right here to my desktop. And that's how easy it is to save a Facebook video to your computer. That's all I got for you today. Catch you on the next one.
