It's a new day. I'm Kim Gaskill and this is the Daily Spark. You notice many things when you sit in a wheelchair because you're sitting in a wheelchair. You're sitting, looking around, oftentimes looking up, and today I'm sitting here looking up and I'm looking at a ceiling fan. And it makes me think ceiling fans are one of those things that we often overlook. Out of sight, out of mind. Are you one of those people who dusts your ceiling fan every time you dust everything else in the room? Or is it the thing that gets overlooked and before you know it, a couple of months have gone by and the dust has built up and now you see it on the ridges on the edges of the fan blades, and you're like, oh my gosh, I need to dust that fan, because you— it catches your eye. You're sitting there either watching TV or having a conversation, and you look up and you see it, and you're mortified because you're a clean person. It's just one of those things that I see all the time. It gets overlooked unless you put it on a schedule where when you look at your calendar that day, it says today is the day you're supposed to dust your ceiling because if you don't, it gets overwhelming. And we do that with a lot of things that we tend to either forget they're there, we overlook them, we get so comfortable that we don't really pay attention. Now, if there's things like that that you have going on in your life or in your business, I suggest that you do put them on a calendar, on a rotating timely basis. Like if you have a bunch of ceiling fans, maybe you just every month or every 2 months, whatever it is. I don't know how often the dust collects. Some houses it's faster than others. I can dust in some of my houses and 2 days later it looks like I haven't dusted in there for 2 months. But other houses I could not dust for a month and you really couldn't tell. But whatever it is, put it on a schedule so that when you look at your calendar, those things that we tend to overlook, that we take for granted, are on there in our face first thing in the morning so we know they're going to get done. Check your ceiling fan today. Catch me everywhere in the socials at Ecotec, E-C-O-T-E-K, and I'll see you again tomorrow for another Daily Spark.
