It's a new day. I'm Kim Gaskill, and this is the Daily Spark. How much is too much? Like, how much of a good thing is really turning into a bad thing? If you overdo it, I wanted to sleep in this morning and I just couldn't. You know, there's a point that my body gets to when I've had enough sleep that if I stay in bed, I actually feel worse than if I would just get up and start my day. And there's a lot of things like that that, you know, they're good and we like it, but there's always that tipping point. There's always that edge that you come up to and if you cross it, it becomes a bad thing. And that happens with a lot of stuff. If you think about it, how much of a good thing is too much? If you're in a conversation and you're telling a story, at what point do people get bored with what you're saying and they stop listening? If you're making a video, do you look at your analytics? What— at what point are people leaving your video because You're either dragging something on, or these flash briefings, if they're too long, people are just skipping to the next one. It's not that there's not good information being shared or a good conversation going on, but there always is a point where too much of a good thing turns into a bad thing and people run. So in your marketing, think about that. No matter how good the stuff is that you're putting out there, there is a point that people are gonna say it's too much and they're gonna run the other direction. Are you paying attention to that edge, to that point, to that line of too much of a good thing is a bad thing? Think about that. And join me again tomorrow for another Daily Spark.
