¡Hola!
It's a new day. I'm Kim Gaskill and this is the Daily Spark. It is definitely a new day, a new day outside for me. I'm standing out on the deck Well, I'm standing up with a walker, but I am outside on my own standing on the deck. I am so elated that I'm finally up. So it is a new day. Literally a new kind of day for me. I'm mobile a little bit, which will change everything for me. Change my mindset, change my mood, change my activity level. That one little thing, you know. And, uh, yesterday Instagram and Facebook were down and people were losing their mind. I had people posting in other places on LinkedIn and Twitter and wherever they could find somewhere to have their voice heard that they were actually out doing something outside or away from a computer or off of their phone. Because Instagram and Facebook were down. Let me tell you, the appreciation I have for being able to stand out here— it's a beautiful day. It's actually been freezing here, but it's somewhat sunny. The birds are singing and it's not too cold. I'm actually standing out here without a coat and just absolutely enjoying it and being so thankful And so my point to you is don't wait for Facebook and Instagram to be down for you to go out and enjoy the simple things in life and to appreciate what's around you. Do it every day in spite of all the technology and tools that we have at our fingertips. Don't let them take control. You take control of those little things and always remember to be thankful. I'll catch you again tomorrow here for another Daily Spark.
