It's a new day. I'm Kim Gaskill and this is the Daily Spark. It is Monday, the day that I need to get up, look at my list, get motivated for the week, and get stuff done. Thinking about what sparks me today, and I am preoccupied with this being Social Media Marketing Week in San Diego. It's the big one. It's where I wanted to be. I worked all year, actually for the last 18 months, I've been working towards attending this conference this year. I've missed it the last couple years, but you know, it was, it was not something I could justify with the level that I was at in my business. I knew that I wasn't there yet to justify that expense, but this year was the year. I spent all year last year building my business to the level that this was what I needed. This was where I wanted to be, to network with all of my mentors, to get propelled to the next level and make those connections. And that's not happening because of the accident. And I'm pretty bummed, I have to admit. But I have to let myself be okay with not being there because I can't change that. And so I have to find other ways to engage with that, to, to learn from that, to take what I can from that in the situation that I'm in right now. And that's all we can do, is the best that we can do in the situation that's dealt us. There will be other conferences I can go next year. All of those things I'm telling myself, but that doesn't change the fact that I'm really, really bummed that I'm not there. And I'm watching all of my friends arrive out there, flying out there, ready for an awesome week of fun and learning and networking, and I'm not going to be there. So I'm going to try and find ways to engage from afar, and thank goodness social media allows us to do that, and prepare myself for what's next. And what's next are several other events that I have on the calendar this year. So I hope if you have FOMO over something or your situation is where you can't participate in something that you want to, or you can't get to a level that you want to or need to right now, find a way to be okay in the moment with where you are now. And set your goals and put it on paper of how you're going to get to the next level, and map that out so that you have that goal to look at and you're not focusing on the FOMO. That's what I'm gonna do. I hope that's what you can do as well, and join me again tomorrow for another Daily Sparkle.
